why witness?

But He needs the conduits, He needs those who are faithful and willing to be there, and who are willing to hear His voice and to do that which He says unto them, that they may bring forth the fruit that He wishes to bring forth, that they may be the pipes that will allow Him to pour forth His water unto these dry and thirsty lands.”
