Our Economy Is in Freefall!

BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD!

The poorer wage-earners are always the first to suffer. Their wages are not in any way keeping up with the inflation, whereas the businesses just raise their prices in order to keep up with expenses. What they haven’t realized yet is that their customer base is made up of the very ones that aren’t getting their wage needs met, so in a very short time, customers will stop coming through their doors to buy stuff and things. Then, of course, the alarm bells will go off with great urgency. Once the businesses begin to really feel the pinch, the freefall will speed up dramatically.

My close friend is a businessman. I have been warning him for a number of years now about the economic crash that would precede the rise of the Antichrist. Did he listen? Well, partially… now that he is actually seeing and feeling it, he is desperately trying to save his business by working harder, putting in more hours and  implementing other save-your-livelihood type measures.

I reminded him just yesterday about Putin being the Antichrist and that the return of Jesus is imminent. He was with his workers adding more empty beehives to a stretch of land he owns, in an attempt to colonize more hives, in an attempt to make more honey, in an attempt… just then I heard the Lord say: ”Be still and know that I am God”.

 Having said my piece, I left him to his work. Thinking and praying about our discussion later, I saw that Jesus had said one thing that summed up exactly what we should do now. “Be still and know that I am God.” I realized that now is not the time, not that there ever was a time, to push in the arm of the flesh, trying as most men do, to save themselves. The time of man has past; Jesus is about to take over the reins.

But for now, man will continue to push, fight and feud, striving against the will of God, as they see their economies crash and burn. They will feverishly rush around with a straw broom, desperately trying to extinguish the raging brush fire that now threatens to wipe out property and life.

Can the arm of flesh save you? Now is the time to come under the shadow of the wings of God, nestle up close to His breast and learn what it means to be still.

Isaiah 30:27-28 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire: And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.

“He makes wars to cease throughout the earth; He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the shields in the fire. Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth.” Psalm 46:9, 10
