MATTHEW 24:15 GOING BEHIND THE VEIL…part 1
“See”, meaning to seek; in reverse…Kees; interpreted Keyes. To open one’s spiritual eyes. Matthew 7:7…Ask and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. (Discovering More on the Keys)
Key promise: “Keys of revelation will part the veil between your world and Mine, and in our times of intimate communion I will reveal to you My secrets.”
(KJV) Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall “see” the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand🙂
3rd Time Lucky?
You may have noticed the small highlighted smiley face at the end of the verse. I inserted the highlight, but not the smiley face, it is punctuated that way in my Bible (KJV). I highlighted the smile because I felt Jesus was smiling at me…It was as if His smile was a suggestion…“I have a secret for you; so come and see” kind of smile; (whoso readeth, let him understand:), is a key to a door to a deeper, more wonderful truth.
To be frank, if you follow the literal translation of the above verse, there is not very much to “understand”. The Christian world is waiting for the 3rd temple before the sacrificial lamb can be slaughtered, and until then, life goes on. My question is, why are Christians following the Jewish religion when Jesus gave His life to bring that religion to a close, and in so doing started a whole new faith 2,000 years ago?
P.S…I’m told the religious Jews have now said they don’t really need the temple and have already sacrificed somewhere in Jerusalem. Maybe the Christian world haven’t been told the secret?
So I took up Jesus’ offer to come “see” –and peeking through the veil, I “see” Jesus. He’s pointing to Daniel Chapter 9. He wants to explain something to me regarding why He said what He said in verse 27. As if in an instant, He implants in my mind the reason He told His children in Matthew 24:15 to go “back” to the words of Daniel. He said that at times He directs His children to look back in order to make a point by example, but always for the purpose of moving them forward into the future. He expects us to remain in the spirit whilst we follow His footsteps.
This morning Jesus took me back to Daniel as a point of reference. He didn’t take me directly to Daniel 9:27 but to 9:23, and there was something interesting I believe He wanted me to “see”.
In tomorrow’s blog, Jesus is going take us back to the Books of Daniel as He begins to unfold the relevance of Matthew 25:15 in today’s current events. Here is an excerpt from tomorrow’s blog…” It was given to Daniel to “understand the matter” in part…the part I wanted him to understand was concerning those Jews that would be in Israel at the time of My first coming. This should be obvious, because a large part of the 70-Week prophecy was referring to the date of My first arrival, and naturally it was vitally important for the Jews to know My arrival date as this would be setting the stage for coming Endtime events and the ultimate demise of Satan’s kingdom.”
