The Battle Of Armageddon

Prophecy: Pray for this war in Ukraine to escalate… Russia and the world cannot afford for it to be prolonged. Pray for the Palestinians, for they are pawns that these evil nations use as a diversion from the real conflict.

MB: I’ve been thinking lately about how if the Battle of Armageddon is to be in Israel, that wouldn’t go along with what Jesus has told us about there being “no signs given to this adulterous and sinful generation.” The religious world is really expecting Armageddon, so if other countries were pulled into the Gaza fighting, then wouldn’t that be a sign to the religious people that Armageddon is close and therefore Jesus’ return will soon follow? The worldly people, of course, have no idea of and aren’t interested in Scripture; they also use Armageddon but more as a by-word. These are just thoughts, mind you. But following Scripture and what Jesus has told us about “no signs given” …if Ukraine were to be where Armageddon is staged, then it would certainly catch the religious people totally unaware, because to them Armageddon must without a doubt be staged in Israel in the valley of Megiddo.

We’ve posted our thoughts on this subject in past blogs and quoted from internet articles that said Armageddon does not mean a place but a battle. So the place of the battle really isn’t truly relevant. We have been praying for Jesus’ return. This, in effect, means we are praying for the drums of war to beat louder and for the Kings of the East and the Persian kings along with the King of the South and North to be stirred to battle. We’ve also posted our thoughts on the real possibility of Ukraine being the place where Armageddon will be fought. The whys and wherefores are on our blog site; you can find them by searching the words “Ukraine” (PDF) or “Khazaria.” (Audio)

There is some pretty strong evidence that Ukraine is the place. I heard that Biden has just committed US support to the war in Ukraine for the next ten years. Why on earth is Ukraine so important? I still believe that the Jews have forsaken Israel, or perhaps Israel has never been important to the movers and shakers of this world. When the seventy years of captivity were over in Babylon, apparently only a few Jews went back to Israel –it would seem the religious ones. The majority were well settled in Babylon, had good businesses going and were no doubt doing business in other lands as well. They could not see any purpose going back to the mountainous deserts of Israel. Within Jewish business circles there was talk of a land to the north of Babylon that was very rich in resources. So after these Jews were released from captivity, over time they began migrating to that rich land in the North, making lives for themselves and their families. These are they who over thousands of years have made Ukraine so important to the Jewish world. We have added a little of the history of Khazaria to our blog entries, but of course there is a lot more. We certainly need to pray for the Palestinians as Jesus has shown us to, but we had better keep our eyes and prayers on Ukraine because at this late stage in world events, they may very well have already begun moving toward Armageddon there in Ukraine.

If this is true, then the religious people –and Jesus was certainly talking to the religious people in Matthew 16:4– will not see the sign because they are all in the wrong place, just as the temple that Jesus spoke of is in the wrong place, at least according to the religious people, and at the moment the religious people have the loudest voice or make the most noise. These are all thoughts, of course, but I was wondering why we aren’t seeing some movement toward Armageddon when Jesus is so close. Well, it may already be happening right under the religious people’s noses.
