Great class (Audio). I loved it. I’m so glad you read this letter. When M&P used it and cited it back at the Reboot, I just knew that was not the right application, even then, and have thought of it many times over the years.
Who is the foreign Grandmother in Builders Beware?
As for the grandmother, I won’t guess! I know I am one! All of our other friends are also! And any who have carried on from before, whatever “generation” they happen to be from, if they refuse to budge, they are that grandmother! But I do hope and pray, as you gave the benefit of the doubt, that Maria is a secret believer. I’m sure she is, but perhaps she’s a prisoner. Pray for her, beloved. Pray for them both. We used to hold them up daily in our united devotions when we all lived together. Let not one be lost.
Another thought just came to me.
Here, when you own property that used to be a farm and now is in the middle of a village because the village grew up around you, you are still allowed to farm it, if you are still alive and so desire, in spite of being in the middle of a village. Of course you have to respect the neighbors, but they cannot stop you. It’s called grandfathering in. So if we are still owners of the Words of David, we have the right and responsibility and Authority to continue to farm with those tools that David entrusted to us.
MB: I believe this without a doubt; we are the heirs. The Words of David and Maria were passed, or dropped, down to us –well, those of us who caught the spirit or who saw them lying on the ground. Whatever the case, they are in our hands, and because of our obedience, Jesus is giving us the New Wine. It is par for the course; the wine only gets poured into new wine skins. That is scriptural, therefore it must be applied to the Words of David, for David is scriptural.
Ezekiel 34:12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. :23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. :24 And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it. :25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
MB: And here in verse 25, we have that new covenant that was passed onto us who believe. The old covenant was cast down to the ground by those “cattle” who pushed the remnant out of the way.
Ezekiel 34:17 And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats. :18 Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet? {Reboot} :19 And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet. :20 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle. :21 Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad :22 Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.
MB: And for sure there were a lot of sick and diseased cattle at the time of the Reboot…All were pushed out and into the world, and we know the rest of the story.
So yes, the Words of David are ours because they were forsaken by those who despised them. So now we have the Oracle, and it is our grave responsibility to take it across the finish line. …Last mile, folks.
Call on the power of the keys of love and forgiveness in bridging any gaps, breaking down any walls, and restoring any breaches. When used in humility and a spirit of meekness, the keys will work wonders, transforming hearts and minds and bringing unity where there was no unity.
