An elite warrior breaking through the spiritual veil

There’s A Saying Athletes Have When They Are “Maxed Out.” It’s Called “Hitting The Wall.”

Faith, Now and Forever (PDF)

If you don’t keep going back to the Word to strengthen your faith‚ life can seem pretty hard for no good reason—and you can start to feel that it’s you, that you must be doing something wrong because things aren’t working out so well for you, that the Lord must be displeased with you because He isn’t answering every prayer with a miraculous deliverance, that maybe the promises He’s given don’t actually work “as advertised.” Or you can become frustrated or discouraged with the spiritual gifts and tools the Lord has given us to do the job—prayer, the keys, faith, praise, His promises, etc.

The Enemy is always trying to tear down your faith. His job is to try to get you to doubt the Lord’s Word. I’d say that’s his number-one mission—and it started way back with Adam and Eve in the Garden. “Hath God said?” (Genesis 3:1). He wanted to get them to doubt the Lord and give up their birthright, and in that case his charms and half-truths worked.

In addition to the Enemy’s constant attempts to hurt your faith, you’ve also got human nature and your own carnal mind working against your faith, because faith isn’t faith unless it’s believing in something that is unseen—something that you know and believe even though you don’t have any proof.

When you go back to the Word, you’ll see that the Lord has answered this age-old dilemma of “Why doesn’t God always answer prayer?” with so many wonderful promises and explanations. He has given us so much heavenly perspective on this matter. But the fact is that life, and the difficulties and trials and times when the Lord seemingly doesn’t answer prayer, will continue to be a test of faith. It will always be so, probably until we get to Heaven.

Are You Leaning on Me?

Whenever things are rough, when you feel that they’re not turning out the way you’d hoped, when you feel your prayers aren’t being answered, when the trials of life are a little too much to bear, when the battle seems too long, when your faith is under attack, when you’re feeling weary and aren’t sure if you can endure much longer, climb up onto the wonderful foundation the Lord has built for your faith through His many promises and encouraging words‚ and rest in that safe haven.

Don’t try to answer all the Enemy’s lies and accusations yourself; let the Word answer for you. Rest in the Word. Rest in the assurance that this isn’t a strange or unique battle—it’s one that every great Christian of all time has had to reckon with, and the answer is the same today as it has ever been—trust in your Husband and His wonderful ways. You can’t figure it all out. It’s a matter of faith, and you don’t have to work up faith. Instead, encourage yourself in the Word and relax in the comfort of knowing that our wonderful Husband has everything in His hands. Rest in Jesus’ arms, let Him shield you and support you‚ and the storm will pass.  (End of excerpt from Faith Now and Forever ML3699)

MB: Jesus speaking: You have to hold on. There is no other alternative but one. And you know only too well where you will end if you choose that other alternative. You’re tired—I know you’re tired—it might be very hard for you to picture Me standing beside you, just as real as ever. It might be very hard for you to believe that these words of prophecy are Me speaking to you personally.

Hitting the Wall

There’s a saying athletes have when they are “maxed out.” It’s called “hitting the wall.”

Internet of things: Hitting the wall in athletics means a sudden, severe collapse in energy and performance, usually during long-distance endurance events like marathons, cycling, or swimming. The core cause is glycogen depletion—your muscles and liver run out of their primary fuel, forcing your body to switch to slower, less efficient fat metabolism. This creates the feeling of slamming into an invisible barrier where continuing becomes extremely difficult.

What “hitting the wall” actually means is that glycogen stores have run out, typically around miles 18–20 of a marathon. Your pace suddenly collapses; your legs feel heavy and unresponsive. You may feel dizzy, foggy, or mentally disconnected because the brain also loses glucose. Your heart rate and breathing spike as your body tries to compensate.

Why it happens

Muscles rely on glycogen for fast energy. Once depleted, the body shifts to fat burning, which produces energy much more slowly. This metabolic slowdown causes the dramatic drop in performance. Some researchers argue the brain also “protects” you by reducing output when fuel is low.

MB: Jesus speaking: In elite discipleship circles, we call brain protection “carnal mindedness.” The brain is pretending to protect you by telling you exactly what it tells an elite athlete: “Pull over to the side and rest. Stop. It’s just too much, too far. You’re not going to make it anyway,” or something to that effect. But both the elite disciple and the elite athlete know that if they can just break through that wall—that barrier—they’ll make it to the finish line. (End)

What it feels like

Legs like lead, sudden exhaustion, muscle cramps, light-headedness, mental fog or irritability, and the feeling that you cannot continue even if you want to.

How athletes avoid it

Start with high glycogen levels. Consume carbohydrates during the event, maintain hydration, use smart pacing, and train the body to store and use fuel more efficiently.

The Perfect Parallel—Not Just a Clever Analogy

Internet summary: Hitting the wall is the moment your “natural fuel” runs out. In athletics, the wall comes when glycogen is gone. In discipleship, the wall comes when self-effort is gone. Enthusiasm fades, emotions stop carrying you, discipline feels dry, prayer feels like work, serving feels heavy, and obedience feels costly. This is the moment when human strength is depleted, and the believer discovers that discipleship cannot be sustained by willpower, personality, or initial excitement.

It’s the shift from running on self to running on Spirit. The wall exposes what you were relying on. Athletes often don’t realize how much they depended on glycogen until it’s gone. Disciples often don’t realize how much they depended on: feelings, routine, community energy, external motivation, and spiritual momentum.

The wall reveals whether your discipleship was built on Jesus or on the adrenaline of a new season.

MB: Jesus speaking: Feelings take the hit first, because that is what man relies on very heavily. When you take feelings out of the equation, and faith isn’t well rooted, whoosh, both are pulverized when the elite “hits the wall.” You know only too well the third factor in the equation—the Word—glycogen. It is at this point that the true glycogen levels are revealed.

Did the elite begin the race—the day—with high glycogen intake? Is the elite consuming carbs during the event—the day—by pumping Key promises and squeezing in that extra line or two of life-sustaining Word?

Routine is a vital factor. Humans have a love-hate relationship with routine. They need it, but they love to break out of it. Yet they also have a tendency to let it completely control them, to the point where they lose their sense of “breaking out” and doing something different and radical. Routine, in the context of finishing the marathon, is essential. Without keeping a solid routine of glycogen intake, the last four to six miles will not be attainable.

Community energy—unity, fellowship, etc.—is important. It’s advisable. It’s in My Word. But when the elite relies on it above the all-important intake of glycogen, then, when the elite hits the wall, all others who haven’t been glycogenating with him will not pass through the wall; they will simply hit it and drop.

External motivation is the killer, the drop of poison that negates the potency of the glycogen. System input is a painkiller; it only deadens the pain, but the real symptoms remain… the elite’s glycogen quality has been compromised. I’m ready to pour out the blessing that glycogen gives the runner, but the elite is running in the wrong direction. He’s running to the painkillers for sustenance. His brain has clicked in and is telling him that it’s trying to save him. When the elite hits the wall, only then is the brain exposed as the liar it really is. It will claim innocence, that it was only trying to help.

Spiritual momentum—another brain teaser. You can stay up late, just this one time. No harm. Fellowship is important. Don’t forget to take your painkiller. You’re feeling so lousy. The battle is just too hard, too long. You have enough momentum to coast along for a bit. Bang, the routine is broken. If it is just an excuse, then one day will turn into another. If the reason for breaking the routine is genuine, then you’ll be back at the glycogen bottle the very next morning. Remember the adage: “The devil has spirited your glycogen intake away the night before.”

Believe Me when I tell you there are only a few miles left before you’ll see the line. Even practically speaking, with all the Word you’ve been given, and all that has been said in that Word, you have to be more than three-quarters of the way through the race. (End of prophecy)

The Wall Is Not Failure—It’s Transition

Internet summary: In endurance sports, hitting the wall is a physiological threshold, not a moral one. The same is true in discipleship: it’s not sin, not weakness, and not a lack of faith. It’s the moment when faith becomes mature, obedience becomes intentional, love becomes sacrificial, and trust becomes real. It’s the point where discipleship shifts from inspiration to transformation. The wall forces you to draw from a deeper source—grace, dependence, and the Spirit’s strength, which come from constant intake of the meat of the Word.

The wall is where the lessons are embedded. At the wall, the elite learns abiding, perseverance, quiet faithfulness, prayer without emotion, obedience without applause, and hope without visible results. It’s the moment where discipleship becomes rooted, not just excited.

The wall is where true growth happens

Elites who learn to push through the wall become endurance athletes. Believers who learn to walk through spiritual walls become disciples, not just followers.

Walls produce depth, resilience, humility, compassion, wisdom, and spiritual authority. No one becomes spiritually mature without hitting at least one wall. The wall is where Jesus meets you differently. Not in the thrill of calling, but in the quiet of perseverance. Not in the excitement of new beginnings, but in the endurance of long obedience. Not in the rush of revelation, but in the slow burn of transformation. The wall is where disciples discover that Jesus is enough even when everything else is gone. (end of internet summary)

The Wall

(Selected Quotes from MB Blogs since April 4)

You’ve passed through the wall. Now keep running, pumping, and let the Spirit take control.

Dusk is falling on April 4. It drifts away to the timeless sea, to be ever in the mind of God—leave it there. In its stead, I placed a special Key in your hand—remember?—a Key that was forged from all that you experienced leading up to that date: the Key of 44.

The Key symbolises completion after a season of testing, representing a transition from preparation to fulfilment. It is linked to our blood covenant and your faithfulness in keeping My Word, even though it seemed to have failed. The Key is linked to John 15:16, for you are a chosen generation, chosen from time immemorial—a peculiar priesthood to pass through this time in earth’s history.

The stripping continues, for I said, “Gone will be everything outside the surety of My Word.” And from this stripping I will reactivate My Bride to be all that she is destined to be and to bring forth all the fruit she is destined to bear. I stripped David from the system of his day; I tore you from the old family system; and I will continue to strip and tear until all is gone from your minds and hearts but the surety of Me, My Word, and the Keys. For only then will you reach your destiny and bring forth the fruit I desire for you to bear.

If you do not place complete trust and faith in My Words, then you will not have the power to finish what I have been preparing since the very beginning. My Words, My Keys, and I are One. Without complete and absolute trust in these three elements, you will not be able to make your way through the darkness ahead.

David’s children who abide in My Word today hold the Key of 44, as well as the multitude of Keys that are the Keys of the Kingdom. They must focus on their power, for the darkness that surrounds you is gross darkness. For those of you who want to be the disciples and brides I want you to be—and not what you think you should be—lay aside all your preconceived ideas and thoughts, and come before Me prepared to be stripped naked and bare.

You followed My Word into the fire. I am keeping My promise to you and now bring you out of the fire, just as I have brought all My prophets throughout history into, through, and out of what seemed to some a fiery death. Put aside the ways and thoughts of the carnal mind. It matters not what man thinks; it only matters what I say. I am looking for a surety in you—a stand of faith on My Word alone.

You really have to have the feeling that it’s really worth dying for!—Any mountain—the mountain of this life, the mountain of accomplishment, the mountain of obstacles, of difficulty—if you’re going to climb them, they have to be worth dying for, to brave wind & cold & storm, symbolic of adversities.

The years of practice, the trials and tests, the mistakes, the repetition—having to go over your lessons again and again—are what give you command of the weapon in your hand. The purpose of passing through the fire of purging, or repetitive practice sessions, is all part of gaining command of the Seven Thunders. Use the Keys that I placed in your hand when a bridge is needed. It is the Keys that fill in all the gaps and make the whole show a success. The Keys are the support struts in the bridges I use to bring you to the other side; they make your destiny—and the destiny of many others—possible.

I have many, many brides—millions—but those who would sit on My knee as My true, believing, intimate lovers are those who continually choose Me, no matter what tests of faith I bring into their lives. It is only through many tests, trials, tribulations, and afflictions that the true bride finds herself chosen from among many. Jesus loves all His brides. It is true; however, not all are chosen. It remains in the hands of the bride-to-be to become that one

You’ve scaled rough and rugged mountains, swum through raging currents, and made it through many difficulties. What you have accomplished so far is tremendous and worthy of praise—but what will be said of you tomorrow? Will you hold true to your calling? Will you cling to your faith? Will you boldly proclaim the truth? Will you receive with open arms your commission for the future? Will you live, breathe, and speak the Revolution? Will you carry on for Me?

Genesis 22:4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off…There’s the key of 44 – 2+2=4:4

Do you also see he ‘saw the place afar off’? It was the third day but yet it was still “afar off,” just as His coming is, but Abraham could see it; it was within sight, so that should encourage us, that although we see Him, He is yet afar off.

Genesis 22:5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.

Let us have the faith of Abraham and believe that even though we had to sacrifice 4th April, He will come again to us! It reminds us to look beyond our current circumstances to God’s greater plan. Remember…….The bridegroom’s delay is deliberate, creating a real-time arena for faith to mature. He is coming soon to get us! He’s just waiting for our heads of grain to properly mature. Jesus, make a way of escape for me…open the way that I may be able to bear it.

To pass through the Endtime portal, to be safe in His arm, we must come with absolutely nothing in our hands, naked in spirit, having forsaken everything this side of the spiritual veil, your future is in your hands!

Will you brace yourself against the pain and use the keys of endurance to make it through this Endtime? Will you call on the keys of perseverance to be able to deny yourself? He is looking for that type of bride, and He sees you there. He is willing to help you all He can so you may be by His side in His Kingdom. So take His hand, take the keys He’s offering you, and go through the door He has placed before you—and there you will be. What a sad choice people make when they choose not to believe. Jesus is offering His brides the universe, gift-wrapped in faith. All it takes is for us to believe and, in patience, carefully unwrap His wedding present.

You have faced your worst fears and are still standing—that is faith at its finest. What you are doing is living your faith, and you are prepared to show the world that you will go through anything I send your way and still come through standing on My promises, even though My promises seem to have failed and it appears I’ve forsaken you.

In the Bible, the number 44 symbolises completion after a season of testing, representing a transition from preparation to fulfilment, often linked to blood covenant faithfulness and chosen lineage. It signifies God establishing what He has been preparing, serving as a reminder to maintain faith, stability, and trust in divine timing. It is always like this when a portentous event is about to happen—a Power Key is created—you’ve been told. Keys are for locks, and locks are on doors; the physical example is there for all to see. But what is not there for all to see is the exact same principle operating behind the veil.

Only those who have fully embraced My Word and are living it today have the Keys of the spiritual realm, and therefore are able to open all the locks. To these who follow will I now open those locks and doors I spoke of in the days before the great Reboot testing. These new Keys that I have presented to you of late are the Power Keys you will need to move forward into the future that is now here. Your first choice when confronted by a problem is to be one of faith. Instead of seeking the ways of man, seek the ways of God. Ask Me to work on your behalf.

You will never know the full meaning of faith until you are tested by fire. Faith is not a fair-weather friend; faith is that storm jacket hanging on the back of your cabin door. Faith is something that you put on when the weather begins turning foul. Faith is seeing Me come out of My cabin to take the place of the fair-weather helmsman—then smiling, because all thoughts of the howling beast coming at you through the darkness vanish. All that is required from this point on is for you to do your part by listening to My commands from the helm.

This rare and precious jewel of April fourth that I have offered you is uncut, so you must, through your labors to trust and not give up in your mind, polish and furbish its surface. Water it with your tears, and let its shine, as it becomes more and more visible, stir your broken heart to sing once again. I have forged a new Key from the fires of sorrow and grief you experienced at My failure to return, as I promised I would, on the 4th of April. It is a powerful Key, created from the hundreds of desperate prayers you offered to Me in the many months preceding April 4th.

I have poured your grief, sorrow, and desperation into this very special Key. I have poured your desire for My return into this Key, as well as the many pleas you offered for the suffering martyrs around the world. And I have poured the strength of spirit they have gained through their suffering into this Key also. This is certainly a new day and Jesus is looking for those disciples who are willing to listen and then obey what they hear, no matter what the consequence. If you’ve heard from Jesus and have the conviction it is His voice you are hearing, then it doesn’t matter what other people say or do, you are going to follow that still small voice

No matter how grand your intentions‚ no matter how enthusiastic you are about serving Me and doing great works in My Name, no matter how much you want to remain strong and unswayed by the attacks of the Enemy in your life, this will never be enough if you’re not connected to Me and strong in My Word!
