Metaphysics Is A Creation Of The Enemy To Replace God Within The Mind Of Man. The Proponents Of Metaphysics Say It Is Based On Rules. But whose Rules?
Introduction:
MB: While working on Part 5 of The Mystery of Da’at, I came across the word metaphysics. Meta is a common word in blogging. For example, every post has its own “meta description.” Its job is to briefly summarize what the post is about. I think the word is just blogger tech chatter—it sounds more cliquish than “brief description”. Anyway, the word meta means beyond. And that is what metaphysics is supposed to mean—beyond physics. According to legend the word was first coined by an editor of Aristotle’s works who placed one set of books after his writings on physics—meta ta physika, “the things after the physics.” This later became the name of the field itself.
Internet definition: Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy—get this—that studies the fundamental nature of reality: what exists, what it means to exist, and what the basic structure of the world is. Metaphysics asks the deepest possible questions: What is real? What is existence? What is being? What are time, space, cause, mind, matter, possibility, and necessity? It deals with what lies beyond what we can observe directly—the underlying principles of reality itself.

In simple terms:
If physics studies how the world works, metaphysics studies what the world is at the deepest level. That makes metaphysics primarily “head knowledge,” but it can also become a belief system, depending on how deeply someone engages with it. It isn’t inherently a religion or a doctrine, but it can shape how a person understands reality, spirit, God, consciousness, and meaning. (end of internet definition)

Paragraphs 22-26: There’s going to be a mighty widening of the eyes when folks wake up to the fact that the new era that’s dawning isn’t what they’d expected! There are many in the world who think they discern the signs of the times, but they’re nothing more than blind leaders of the blind. These poor ninnies who pat themselves on the back and praise the works of their own hands are in for a rude awakening. Some of them think they are the creators of the new age—the new age of technology. They think it’s the work of their own hands, their own technology that’s catapulting the world into this new era.
Pitiful, it’s just pitiful! In the world they’re bowing down and worshipping their gods of false science and technology as they pride themselves in the works of their own hands. The world thinks they’ve entered the great new age of technology, and they think the 21st century is going to thrust them into the greatest glories of their “techno-age.” Ha! Have they got a big surprise coming! This is not the new era I’m talking about! This new age of technology is merely a fabrication (Video), a counterfeit of the real age that is dawning.
This new age is not going to be a glorious age for the technocrats and all who follow their false way. This new age is your age, folks! The wisdom of God is wiser than men, and this world’s wisdom is foolishness to Him! Thank You Lord that You have chosen us, the foolish things of this world, to confound the wise among men.
If these poor fools could only see, the 21st century is not going to be an age of crowning glory for their much-worshipped technology. In fact, it’s going to be just the opposite. Oh, it might not seem like it right now. If you look around at all the advances in technology, it looks mighty awesome and impressive. But let me tell you, it won’t last long. The Lord can’t let it last, because they’re making doors where doors don’t go, and pretty soon He’s going to have to step in and slam those doors shut before the technocrats completely destroy mankind altogether.
Oh, what a surprise it’s going to be to those who do not discern. What a surprise it’s going to be for some when all that technology that they put their faith in crumbles to the ground. But even the familiar spirits frequently would confess Christ: “Thou art Jesus, the Son of God! Art Thou come to torment us before our time?”! (Matthew 8:29) The spirits confessed the disciples; the girl followed them around saying: “These are the servants of the Most High God which show unto us the way of salvation!” (Acts16:16-18) In this case the spirit was confessing the truth & was almost good advertising for the Apostles! Everybody in town was familiar with this girl already, & her keepers, & that she was a fortune teller or medium, she would tell them things, & she was saying good, she was telling the truth.
I think she just got to be a nuisance! Paul just got annoyed at having somebody following him around all the time saying, “These are the servants of the Most High God, which show unto us the way of salvation,” etc. They got a little weary of it & he cast it out of her. Then her keepers got mad because their source of gain was gone!
So, I wouldn’t say they’re all bad by any means! I had a very, very good feeling about Madame M, that it was a good spirit who was helping her! (See No.268 (PDF).) She was a Gypsy! I think a lot of the spirits that help the Gypsies (PDF) are probably good. That’s why He said, “Beloved, try the spirits to see whether they be of God” or not, because there are spirits which are of God who are ministering spirits to help us, & then others who are just to annoy & trouble us, & we need to know the difference! Prophecy continues: So you see, that is what the computer is. It’s a machine, assembled by man, yes, but it’s the brainchild of Satan himself. And not just the computer, but every smartphone that’s produced has the potential to become, as it were, a familiar spirit that entices people—the masses—to worship the wrong spirits. That’s Satan’s endgame, and he’s all but achieved his objective.

You see the one thing these computers lack is, in a sense, a soul, a conscious spirit. But these devils will have the power to give these computer robots spirits who will then control them. See, the Spirit World is limited, God has limited it to a certain realm & they have to operate under certain rules. They at this time require vehicles, flesh and blood vehicles, as a rule. They need to possess human beings to be able to do things & take actions & cause damage etc. through demon possession. You have to really stand up in spirit against this smartphone. It has powers—not of itself, but because there are very, very strong spirits controlling it. And that goes for the computer too. The Devil is playing for keeps in these last days, and you are the enemy. You’ve been told this before. But some of you are not getting the point that you’re warriors in a very deadly war. You hold the power—truly. In the Keys you have all the power you need to win this war. The Word says: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” 1 Corinthians 1:19
Man, and his mind and his inventions, cannot stand against the power of God when it’s wielded by warriors. God has chosen you, whom the world calls weak, to shame the strong. This is the Gospel I’m talking about. This is the Gospel for today—the New, New Wine for the new, new Children of David.
“For the preaching of the cross is foolishness to them that perish; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18
That single line explains the entire spiritual landscape. Two groups hear the same message—but respond in utterly different ways. Those who are spiritually dying [the majority] see what is being said in MB and think we are absurd. Those who are being saved by the New Wine feel its power like a lightning strike in the soul.
You’ve been asked to pray that the armies of Heaven commandeer the smartphone. If the enemy can possess it, then we can too. This is spiritual warfare, and anything is possible in this realm. If Saul can be knocked off his horse by a lightning strike, then so can every person who is His but is lost in the darkness. They can have their spiritual eyes opened in an instant, at the flip of your Key-powered prayer.
“And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise…” Where is the philosopher? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? They are overcome, they have become as dumb beasts under the yoke of their master Satan.
What every man desires is in the smartphone and the world around him. Those who want signs, the Devil gives them technology; many Christians believe that technology is given by God. And in a sense, it’s true, but what we are seeing is that technology has been pushed too soon, and deliberately so.
Man is not ready for technology because he hasn’t yet learned the basic tenets of the Law of Love (PDF). The goddamned Devil is pushing this to its inevitable end… Matthew 24:22. Those who want philosophy, the smartphone gives it to them. You don’t have to go anywhere further than your living room lounge chair to get all the meta philosophy you want. But when it comes to miracles, God wins hands down.

Man has to go to a lot of work to make a television set to transfer a picture from a broadcaster’s source to a TV. But God can send a picture by His Own natural laws, supernatural to us, by just thinking the picture & transferring it to our minds or even to our vision. (Maria: And that’s the way it will be in the Millennium for God’s people, right? They won’t need all this electronic stuff!) Goodness no! (Maria: Even in the natural World.) Yes, He’ll simply transfer His thoughts by His Angels with whatever He wants us to think & see.
They will finally make themselves a new idol, a scientific idol they can worship, smarter than man himself!–The ultimate of the tree of the Knowledge of Good & Evil, all the combined knowledge of mankind & history & science & all in one super-computer Robot! This image of the beast will be programmed, computerised so as to know everything that man knows in one idol, one Image! Called and chosen for this era of action
Jesus hasn’t chosen the T.V.-mesmerized couch potato to break the spell of white magic and its conduits. He’s deliberately chosen you: the weak, the low, the despised, the things that “are not.” Why? So no flesh can glory in His presence, and because you want to be counted among those few heroes (Video) found in Hebrews 11.
When people reject the truth of the Bible or MO letters, they don’t just lose wisdom—they lose the ability to recognize wisdom at all. Everything flips upside down. The truth becomes foolishness. Sin becomes freedom. Darkness becomes enlightenment. Man becomes his own god.
Metaphysics as “head knowledge”
At its most basic, metaphysics is simply philosophy—a way of thinking about the nature of reality. It’s: analytical, conceptual, academic, neutral. A philosopher might study metaphysics the same way a mathematician studies geometry: no belief required—just reasoning.
Metaphysics as a belief system But metaphysics also touches questions that many spiritual traditions care about:
- What is the soul?
- Is there a spiritual realm?
- What is consciousness?
- What is the ultimate nature of reality?
Because of this, many people build world-views or spiritual frameworks using metaphysical ideas. This is where metaphysics becomes a lens for interpreting life, a foundation for spiritual practice, a way of understanding God, spirit, or the unseen, and a personal philosophy.
Mystics, contemplatives, and spiritual seekers often use metaphysics to describe experiences that go beyond ordinary perception. Metaphysics is the study of reality. Whether it becomes a belief system depends on the person doing the studying. Some stay in the head. Some move into the heart. Some move into the spirit. (End of article from ‘internet of things’)
Prophecy: It is simply worship of the mind. They much prefer taking credit and being seen as men of the mind—brilliant, philosophical giants. Rejecting the truth, they are led into darkness by the tether of pride tied to their nose ring. Universities all around the world teach these subjects as the way, the truth, and the life. Professors, professing to be wise, stand up as the “new age” prophets, spouting off nothing but what has come out of their own heads. Oh, what an evil web has been cast over the world of men. Gross darkness—an endless, bottomless, parallel world.
New Age equals a world without rules
Many people think New Age means: no spiritual rules, no structure, everything is true, follow your feelings, reality is whatever you want, spirituality without accountability. However, there have to be societal rules, or else the structure would have collapsed long ago.
Metaphysics is a creation of the enemy to replace God within the mind of man. The proponents of metaphysics say it is based on rules. But whose rules? They have twisted the truth to accommodate their New Age. It is no wonder the New Agers latched onto metaphysics as their touchstone.
The metaphysicist twists Biblical truth, and the New Ager twists the rules of metaphysics. Jesus said: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.” The metaphysicist teaches that it is given to men to be as gods, to know right from wrong; they claim to know the way. What a den of iniquity is the mind of man when the “Door” is taken away and every evil creature can come and go as it pleases.
Jesus can sweep and garnish the room of your mind, but if you don’t hinge that Door and put a lock on it, controlling it with the Keys of the Kingdom, those creeping things of science, so-called, and the philosophies of man will enter in to entertain you with their doctrines of devils. Shun the profane babblings of the mad professors, or be forever lost in their minds; you have followed them into their minds.

We are the more accountable
Eighty years ago, when Dad was a young man, his father prophesied of the TV being the image of the beast. Little did he know that the television would be taken out of the living room and placed in the right hand of every person on earth. Pages and pages of warnings are given throughout Family material. This excerpt is taken from Shooting Straight – Part 10:
And how does the Enemy accomplish all this? Of all his machinations, there is practically no other weapon—whether in the realm of the flesh or of the spirit—that he uses more injuriously than television. In just a few decades it has become one of his weapons of choice in the battle for world domination.
Man is lost, society is lost, the church is lost, because they don’t keep the rules either; they are, in a way, a New Age movement. As Jesus said, by their traditions they make the Word of God of none effect. Jesus cuts right through all their crap, their ceremonies, the false pretense, and whited sepulchers, to expose the rottenness within.
Who let the dogs in? Who kicked the door down and said, “Go float your faith”? It really doesn’t matter who said it; what really matters is that the people would have it so. If it wasn’t already in their hearts, the covenant wouldn’t have been broken.
We are in a world whose foundation is undefined, ungrounded, self-invented, based on feelings—and we know all about our feelings; they are constantly shifting. As Dad said fifty years ago in There Are Absolutes:
It’s the same idea as to destroy faith in god. If they destroy faith in God, that there is a God, then how can there be any right or wrong because there’s nobody to make the rules? If there’s no God there’s no Ruler, they’re no rules, and if there are no rules or laws then nothing is either right or wrong.
Man has lost the ability to define truth, define morality, and define reality; he’s lost his identity and purpose for being on earth. These are the darkest days this world has ever seen. The world has fallen into anarchy, swiftly drifting with no Anchor.
Jesus said, “By their fruit ye shall know them”… by taking a peek into our smartphones, our surmising is answered. “And the love of many shall wax cold.” Jesus said that, but for the elect’s sake, all flesh would perish… that is the effect and the cause: man making his own rules and laws. Man has deceived himself—delusion, very strong delusion. As Paul said in Thessalonians, “Once they have rejected the Truth, God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie!”
When man makes his own rules, the effect is this: humanity destroys itself—self-rule is self-destruction. We are seeing the fulfillment of Paul’s prediction in 2 Thessalonians 2:7: God has removed the constraints.
The serpent didn’t tempt Eve with evil. He tempted her with self-rule: “You will be like God.” That is the metaphysics of the modern world: Man is his own god. And once man becomes his own god, he becomes his own destroyer.
It is a natural course of action pointed out succinctly by Jesus in Matthew 24. If your heart turns cold and inward, great tribulation will come, and the result would be that “no flesh would be saved.” “But for the elect’s sake”—and that’s the clincher. If My presence, in the form of My true temple, were not standing in the gap, no flesh would be saved.
If you go back to the beginning of Matthew 24, you see that Jesus laid a curse on the Jewish second temple. Why? Because that era had come to an end; it was fulfilled in Him. He was about to rebuild the new temple, where He would come to live in the form of the Holy Spirit. The Jews rejected Him, as we know, but in 70 AD Jesus’ prophecy was fulfilled.
Jesus said He and His Father are one and the same. Jesus wasn’t saying He was God. No, Jesus was the Son of God. But the Father had given all things into His hands. That makes Jesus the rule-maker. He wasn’t just any old prophet that you mix, as you mix an alcoholic beverage, and then drink down to get high on. He wasn’t just one of the great philosophers of history. He’s the rule-maker.
It’s simple, really. But pride rejects the truth. The Jews that ran into the dead temple on that terrible day back in 70 AD were all burned to death. The old temple didn’t save them. Man’s concocted rules, based on his own knowledge, can never save him.
Man is on a wave that will, like all the other waves before this one, crash on the beach. Just as waves of the sea are driven with the wind, the wind of no rules is going to bring the final end—not of all things, but the end of the maddening merry-go-round we are in today. This is simple biblical logic.
Jesus says: If My presence—in My true temple—were not in the world, all flesh would perish. That means we are not just “the saved”; we are the carriers of His presence. We are the restraint holding back total collapse. We are the Living Temple—Jesus in us.
In Matthew 24:2, Jesus doesn’t just predict destruction. He pronounces judgment on the Second Temple. Why? Because the era of stone temples was over. The true Temple was about to be built; the Spirit was about to enter the rebuilt Holy of Holies. The old covenant had reached its fulfillment. The Jews had rejected the Cornerstone, so the old structure had to fall.
We are riding the last wave that will end as all waves end. The Roman wave ended this way: delusion, collapse, and judgment. It came back to life, or was brought back to life, as Daniel and Revelation reveal. Now this current wave—the “no rules” wave—is the final one.

This is what we are praying for: the collapse of human rule and the preservation of the elect—the Living Temple—exactly as Jesus framed it. None of what is being said here is new. The Bible prophets said it, Dad said it; we are simply reiterating the truth. We are following the Master. As Jesus said, all that He has comes from the Father. The philosophy, the metaphysics, is simple: follow the rule-maker and you live in da’at; follow the usurper and you end in confusion and hell. How can someone not understand Jesus’ Words?
He spoke in parables to those without; those were His words. He said He did that because He knew their hearts. They had already rejected Him, but to avoid throwing His pearls before the swine, He spoke in parables. He only began throwing the pearls at the very end because He knew His time had come. He chose His death; those swine didn’t make that decision. It is so simple, even a child can follow the path.
Man, in his vanity, left the path and followed the tinsel, the vanity of the flesh, and is now in very, very strong delusion. Parables were also a test for the believers. If you want to follow Me, you have to ask Me, “What does this mean, Jesus?” If you ask Me, I will tell you, and then the real adventure begins. Then, together, we can begin exploring the true realities that I’m hiding just out of sight for the time being.
But as I said—they are not past finding out. The Word is the test: if you love Me, keep My commandments—not the old law that the Pharisees and scribes, and many of the churches today, follow, but the new law, the Law of Love. Why don’t they follow the new law? Because it isn’t about self; it is about God. God is love. It is about His will, not your own.
Jesus said: “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me.”* — John 7:16
The Pharisees kept the old law because it preserved self: self-righteousness, self-importance, self-authority—all the traits Jesus pointed out in Matthew 23. The new law—the Law of Love—destroys self. You have to surrender your will to God’s will, be obedient, be humble, and dependent on Jesus. Our path is the path of a child, rarely found in today’s society. We have to listen, ask, obey, surrender, love, and trust our Daddy.
The meaning of “Meta”
Mark Zuckerberg explicitly used the word “Meta” when announcing the name change of Facebook’s parent company in October 2021. In fact, he used it repeatedly and very deliberately as part of the rebrand explanation.
Zuckerberg said:
- “I am proud to announce that starting today, our company is now Meta.”
- He also explained that the word comes from the Greek for “beyond”, describing it as symbolic of the company’s future direction.
- He emphasized that the existing Facebook brand was “so tightly linked to one product” and could not represent everything the company was building, especially the metaverse.
The announcement was highly publicized and included a long keynote presentation. Zuckerberg used “Meta” both as the new company name and as a conceptual anchor for the metaverse vision. Because the speech blended branding, philosophy, and future-tech talk, many people remember fragments rather than the full context.
- The rebrand applied only to the parent company, not the Facebook app itself.
- The new logo was a blue infinity symbol, replacing the old thumbs‑up sign at headquarters.
- The company began trading under the ticker MVRS shortly afterward.
Meta, metaphysics, and the flood
Meta—metaphysics—holds the keys to the minds of millions, if not billions, of people: a flood of lies.
Revelation 12:13–15 says:
And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
These verses stem right out of the heart of Matthew 24:22.
In Revelation 12, the “flood” is not literal water—it is a flood of lies, persecution, propaganda, and spiritual deception aimed at overwhelming the faithful. In other words: billions of people connected to platforms that shape perception, algorithms that amplify emotion over truth, information that moves faster than discernment, and narratives that drown out conscience.
Zuckerberg said “Meta” means “beyond”—beyond the physical world, beyond the screen, beyond the body. That is metaphysical language.
Matthew 24 and Revelation 12—the same warning, two angles
Matthew 24:22: “Except those days should be shortened, no flesh would be saved.”
Revelation 12 describes the same thing symbolically: the dragon, the flood, persecution and an attempt to wash the faithful away.
We are in the exact right place at this time in history. The flood is here, and He is lifting us above it, He hides us and feeds us in this hidden place, our cave. He will protect us from the flood only if we are obedient to His Word.
The spirit of Antichrist is in the world
There are many “Antichrists” gone out into the world. It is given to man the gift of free will and the majesty of choice. You are hot or you are cold; you cannot serve God or mammon. These are all, in a sense, rules—or bylines, small print, if you will. Zuckerberg isn’t the Antichrist, but he is certainly not for Christ; just look at his fruit. He allows Christian teaching on his sites because if he didn’t, he would lose a very big audience. It’s about the money. He’s not the AC, but he is certainly helping row the boat.
This is exactly how Scripture describes the end-time deception. Not one man. Not one villain. But many hands rowing the same boat: technocrats, corporations, governments, cultural movements, and all the people who would have it so. That is the flood of Revelation 12.
It is fully active. It is the flood spoken of in Revelation 12, and it is directed not at the masses, who are following teachings other than Christianity. I’m not being biased; it’s the truth the Bible teaches. And I’m not attacking other religious beliefs; I don’t have to.
“By their fruit you will know them.” And what is religion anyway? It is a system of belief. People believe in money. That is what they think about and run after, most, if not all, their lives. People walking along the side-walk of a busy city street don’t hear the rush of cars and the shouts of delivery men and those who sell their wares.
But if you were to drop a coin on the pavement, all those within hearing distance would slap their pockets or check the ground to see if they dropped that coin. The flood is after the elect, not those who flow with the river or help row the boat. The flood is out to deceive the very elect. The flood will sift those who say they are Christian from those who truly are His. All this is happening within the hearts of all the people on earth.
There are plenty of preachers out there delivering pretty convincing sermons, but what is the content of their sermons? “He that forsaketh not all that he hath, cannot be My disciple”? Or “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt”? Or “Go into all the world and preach the gospel”?
If he preached any of those truths, his congregation would be compelled to go out and live it. But if they did that, they would take all those juicy offerings, gifts, and tithes with them. The Word of God is a discerner of the thoughts and heart of man, so sharp, in fact, that it cuts asunder the very thoughts and pierces to the very marrow. Preach away, preachers—but in the end, all will be revealed. And honestly, who will stand? Haven’t we all fallen short of the glory of God?
Yes, and that is the precise reason we must have a Rulebook and a Ruler, and why it must be followed. Because if we choose not to, then we follow our own lusts. The net—the “internet”—is big, and only a few fishes escape. Many are called, but few are chosen, because those few choose to be chosen; they choose to slip through the net into the wilderness.
The flood has sifted the church—separating the called from the chosen. The flood exposes everyone: the false disciples, the false preachers, their motives, and their commitment to what and whom.
