Jesus talking to Nicodemus

The Tests Are Part Of Getting To Sit On His Knee. I’ve Been Here Long Enough To Know That Not Everyone Gets To Sit On The King’s Knee.

Bridge from Part 3: In Part 3, we followed yada into the deeper mystical concept of da’at—the knowing that is more than information, the union where God and the soul meet. We explored the mystical understanding of conception as the meeting of God, soul, womb, and destiny, and saw how da’at was described as the original union, the spark of divine Light within the soul.

But if that original knowing is present at conception, what happens to it when sin enters the picture? If the union is veiled and the awareness of God is lost, then perhaps Jesus’ command to “be born again” takes on an entirely different meaning. Part 4 takes us into that mystery: da’at broken, da’at restored, and rebirth as the unveiling of the union that was there from the beginning.

Being born again (PDF) = da’at restored

Mystics frame rebirth as the neshama reawakening and reconnecting to da’at. In rebirth, the nefesh is purified, the ruach is calmed, the neshama rises, da’at reconnects, the soul remembers God, and the inner light shines again. This is why Jesus says, “Unless one is born of water and Spirit…” The mystical interpretation is that water represents the cleansing of the nefesh, Spirit represents the reactivation of the neshama, and da’at represents the union that makes the soul alive again. Rebirth is not a new soul; it is the original union restored.

Why Nicodemus couldn’t understand it is also significant. Nicodemus was a legal scholar, a halakhic authority, a man of Torah, a man of rules, and a man of structure. He lived in binah (understanding, structure), not da’at (union [intimacy]).

MB: In other words, Nicodemus didn’t have a relationship with the Father. Jesus had come to restore the union, the da’at. That is what He and Nicodemus were discussing in John chapter 3. I said in the last podcast that Nicodemus was a mystic. Perhaps he was, but perhaps he wasn’t; I have no idea. If he was a mystic, then what Jesus was talking about was deep mysticism that went right over Nicodemus’ head.

Mystics say, “The man of law sees the womb; the man of Spirit sees the union.” Nicodemus thought that birth was physical, the womb was biological, and rebirth was impossible. Jesus was speaking in mystical categories: birth was da’at, the womb was Spirit, and rebirth was the restoration of union. Nicodemus was stuck in binah. Jesus was speaking from da’at. That’s why Nicodemus couldn’t grasp it.

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Prophecy—Jesus speaking: This study on “The Mystery of Da’at” is a mouthful for some of you, but there is no need to get lost in all the new words and mystical sayings and thoughts of other mystics. There are a lot of people out there who get lost in the strange truths of David. Not that the Words of David are difficult to understand; in fact, David more often than not directed his teachings to the youngest in the audience.

People get lost because they don’t take time to hear from Me when reading the Words of David. They come across an hard saying, and instead of asking Me for confirmation or an explanation, they allow their minds to wander, or they simply turn off the path, deliberately rejecting the truth, saying what those who couldn’t understand what I meant said when I said, “Eat My flesh and drink My blood.” I was speaking deep magical mysticism.

Nicodemus was trying to understand, but he was a lawyer, a flatlander (PDF). He wasn’t rejecting Me; he was trying to understand, but his poor carnal mind just couldn’t grasp it.

Today, even the Scribes and Pharisees of the religious world understand what it means to eat My flesh and drink My blood. Every Sunday, they go through the motions of communion, but alas, many of them, although performing the ritual, miss the deeper mysticism. They keep the law but miss the spirit of the law.

I don’t want you to be like the church people who know Me in word only. I want to continue to speak to you in the ways of the spirit. If you don’t understand My words that come forth from the pastor’s mouth, then listen to the Spirit. Do what My disciples did and ask Me what this meaneth. It is not past finding out.

Luke 8:9–10 His disciples asked him what this parable meant. He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, ‘though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’” [Isaiah 6:9]

Why didn’t I open their eyes that they might see? It was because they had already decided in their hearts to reject Me. Take note that I didn’t start exposing them until My time had come.

Number of a Man (PDF) (ML 1943)

Jesus was asked by his disciples, “why do you always speak in parables?”—Particularly when the Scribes & the Pharisees & the Enemy was present. He said, “Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, but unto them it is not given!” (Matthew 13:10,11) But once in a while He would tell a parable that was so simple that the Scribes & the Pharisees got the point & they realized it was they that He speaking of, & it says so. (Luke 20:19) It says they recognised that He was speaking of them, & it usually wasn’t very complimentary! It made them furious & that’s why they wanted to kill Him & finally did. (End of ML excerpt)

Jesus continues: Why do I speak to you in parables? It is the same reason I spoke to the crowds in parables. My enemies were among the crowds, which is one reason; the other reason was to entice those who would know more to ask. That is the underlying message to you in the “Ask Me Everything (PDF)” series. Don’t be shocked at this saying: “My sheep hear My voice, and they do follow.” This is how I sift My sheep—those that hear My Words and do them are My sheep.

Luke 8:9  His disciples asked him what this parable meant.

Mark 4:9-11 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

Number of a Man (ML 1943)

(Speaking of Revelation 13) First of all he’s warning you it’s going to take wisdom to decipher this, decode it, to interpret it! it’s a mystery! You’re not supposed to be able to get it right off or understand what it means with the first reading. In fact, preachers have probably argued over this for thousands of years, at least a couple thousand. I told you one reason a lot of Revelation is a mystery & is more or less put in code is so the System of each day would not understand it! (End)

Jesus: To leave this path is to turn back. You follow the path of the great mystics of the past—who follow the greatest mystic that ever lived. My Word will always be mystical because it speaks of the things of the spirit. I whisper in your ear and tell you of the parallels in the Words of David because you are My sweethearts, and you lie with Me in the bed of love, listening intently to My sayings, trying to understand, but not always succeeding.

Put away the mind of man. Put what you don’t understand on the shelf of faith—at least—for in so doing, you show Me that you believe what I say, even if you don’t understand all that I’m saying. As AI brought out, not even the mystics could adequately explain the mysteries of da’at, so don’t feel like you have to understand. Just enjoy the moment while you listen to others outside your fellowship talk of these spiritual matters—that, in reality, you actually know quite a lot about.

Born Again—Are You? (ML1955)

The whole idea is so simple & so childlike that Jesus said that you must become as a little child to enter His spiritual Kingdom of love, joy & happiness here & now in this life–as well as a beautiful, wonderful & thrilling Eternity in His Heavenly Kingdom in the next life! He said, “Except ye be converted, & become as little children, ye shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven!” & “Except a man be born again, he cannot even see or understand the Kingdom of God!” (Matthew 18:3; John 3:3)

Of course, nobody can really fully understand salvation.[da’at] That’s why Jesus said that you must be like a little child & just accept it by faith! The Bible says that the love & peace of God “passeth all understanding.” (Ephesian 3:19; Philippians 4:7) It’s a love which passes your understanding & lands right down in your heart! It is something you don’t have to understand. In fact, you can’t understand it, it’s impossible to understand God’s Love!—All you can do is receive it!

Don’t try to figure him out–just let him in! It’s just that simple! All you have to do is receive Jesus, God’s Son, as your Saviour by asking Him into your heart! You can do it right now, if you want God’s answer to all of your problems & His love & happiness to fill your heart & life with joy & with a new plan & purpose in living! He’ll meet all your needs & solve all your problems! He’s just that wonderful, & it’s all just that simple! Why not try Him? (End)

Jesus continues in prophecy: Many of the Pharisees and Scribes hated Me because I explained the mystical in easy-to-understand ways. Many of them were jealous of the way I could hold the crowd’s attention while talking about subjects that even they found hard to comprehend. I was able to do this wonderful thing because I had da’at with My Father. I “knew” Him, and He “knew” Me. Our relationship was intimate, spiritual, and real, whereas theirs was book knowledge. Their teaching did not come from an intimate knowledge of the Father, but they spoke from their minds, and those minds were carnal. They knew the jot and tittle of the law, but they failed in the spiritual arena.

It was as I said of them: they know not the Father; if they knew the Father, they would have known Me.

John 8:19-27 Then said they unto Him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know Me, nor My Father: if ye had known Me, ye should have known My Father also. These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as He taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on Him; for His hour was not yet come. Then said Jesus again unto them, I go My way, and ye shall seek Me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.

Then said the Jews, Will He kill himself? because He saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come. And He said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins.

Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.

Jesus: They could have had a deep spiritual relationship with Me, but their pride would not allow them. I was a son of a carpenter; they were the learned elders of Israel.

It wasn’t given into My hands to kill Myself, it was given into their hands—they wished I would do it—for they surely knew Who I was, for they of all people knew by scripture that I was He who was to come.

The light in every man (John 1) = the da’at spark

Mystics interpret John 1 like this: The neshama carries a spark of divine light into the world. This spark is the memory of God, the imprint of da’at, the echo of the original union, the seed of rebirth, and the inner lamp of the soul. Matthew 25:3–4: “They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.” Sin cannot extinguish it; it can only veil it. Rebirth is the unveiling.

The mystical equation: da’at → broken → restored

At conception, da’at is union [intimate]. Light enters, the soul descends, and the spark ignites. In life, sin is disconnection: the light is veiled, the union is forgotten, and the spark is dimmed. In rebirth, Spirit is reconnection: the light is unveiled, the union is restored, and the spark is awakened. This is why Jesus says, “You must be born again.” He is saying, “Return to the original da’at—the union [the intimacy] you had before the world touched you.”

Born Again—Are You? (ML1955)

Jesus said, “I am the door”–into His Father’s House, the Kingdom of God–“by Me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved.” (John 10:9) Therefore, if you want to get to Heaven, you have to walk through Jesus, the open Door. All you have to do is believe in the Door, walk through it by faith, receive Jesus, & you’re saved!—You’ve entered the Heavenly sphere of Salvation, Heaven on Earth, the Kingdom of God, just by walking through the open Door, Jesus!

The Bible tells us that “God is love”! (1John 4:8) And what did God do to prove that He is Love, that He loves us?—”God so loved the World”—you & I—”that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) God loved you so much that He gave Jesus to suffer for your sins, to take the punishment & the judgement that you deserve for you. “In this was manifested the Love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the World, that we might live through Him.” (1John 4:9) Jesus is the manifestation of the Love of God. (End)

Deep into the Mind of God

I have positioned you as My test case, My example to Creation that indeed man, with the full force and support of the Keys, is capable of overcoming the spirit of the mind of Satan. How? By consciously unlinking the connection that the foul one set up so long ago and continues, from birth till death, to reinforce upon man through worldly education and the ways and rudiments of the world. Reconnecting through personal choice back into the mind of God can only be achieved through you who are intimately connected to My mind. I will strongly reiterate here that it is the Words of David that hold the Key to this connection; the Words of David are the path back to putting on the totality of My mind.  (Excerpt from MB blog: I Want the Genuine Article Aug 1, 2025 )

The law of love = the restoration of da’at

Mystics say, “Law governs behavior; love governs union.” Nicodemus lived in chokhmah (Torah knowledge), binah (interpretation), and gevurah (discipline). Jesus was speaking from chesed (love), tiferet (beauty), and da’at (union [intimacy]). The law of love is the soul reconnected to God through da’at. This is rebirth. This is restoration. This is the mystical meaning of Jesus’ teaching.

Art of War – Part 6 (ML 3590)

Dad: How can you use this weapon of the Law of Love as an offensive one? What does the Enemy hate the most?—Sacrificial love, the kind that causes you to do something good for someone else. Selfish, self-satisfying love isn’t a threat to the Enemy, because it causes the person to heed himself and his own wants and desires. But sacrificial love, love that puts others’ needs before your own, the love that compels you to go out and win the lost for the Lord, that is a very big threat to the Enemy! He is the epitome of everything opposite. He promotes love of self, putting yourself first, doing good for yourself–all the things the world promotes.

The Law of Love is all about agape love, selfless love, the kind of love that causes you to reach out and do good, love your brethren, and put the needs of others before your own; the kind of love that helps you to live in unity and harmony with your brethren‚ and put yourself last in the overall big picture.

Jesus continues in prophecy: As you know the Law of Love is one of the Seven Thunders, therefore it must be lived in your lives as part of the fulfillment of scripture. Living the law of love is living the Words of David. How can you say you love Me if you do not the things I say in My living Word for yesterday and today?

How can you put aside the Words of David and the New, New Wine of today and say that you love Me. I say to you as I said to those of yesterday and beyond yesterday. He that loveth Me is he that keepth My commandments. (End)

Final synthesis

Da’at is the original union between God and the soul at conception. Sin veils that union. Rebirth unveils it. The light in every man is the spark of da’at waiting to awaken. Nicodemus couldn’t understand because he lived in law, not union. Jesus came to restore the original knowing—the deepest yada—the union that creates life. (End)

Jesus continues in prophecy: The deepest and most enduring gift I’ve given you is the gift of loving Me intimately. You show your love for Me by coming to the bed of love, by asking Me everything in prophecy, but living the Words of David. These tenets combine as a river combines as it meets another on their path to the sea. In the case of the Words of David, we have seven rivers—the mystery of the Seven Rivers. All meet to become one great and powerful river that cannot be stemmed or diverted. No man or god can stop the mighty flow of God.

Allow our union to be strengthened by your obedience to the Words of David, all the seven rivers to flow into our da’at to strengthen our force. I am one with you, and you are one with Me; we are inseparable, as the waters of the seven rivers are inseparable. That is how impossible a task it is. You may place categories and tags on the waters of these rivers, but that is as the law that says this and that. The spirit cannot be numbered or tagged; it cannot be contained in mere words. It must be experienced, it must be lived, it must be da’at and union—a grafting, where two become one.

The Keys are given to open your spiritual mind; they unlock the innumerable doors within that vast and wonderful library, which by the way is the door to the River of Life, where all that is in the Mind of God flows.

Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
