Yes, Da’at Is Mystical And Amazing, But The Mystical Is Played Out In A Very Down-to-Earth Way

Blue angel: I know you want to be one with Jesus. You want to be “in His mind,” but that’s something that you can’t just have for the wanting, just like you can’t have a university degree for the wanting. It takes time and sacrifice and learning over a period of time. You have to get to know Jesus and how He sees things. And you do that by reading the Word and by listening to Him.
And actually, it’s the breakings and losses that really make room for Him in your heart and mind. There is nothing like a loss or sickness or a big mistake to really bring you down and help you to see things. Like it says in Jesus Is Enough (PDF), there is something about those times that clears the smoke and removes the scales from your eyes. Suddenly, you see what’s actually important. The surface stuff and the superfluous is blown away.
How to Take on Jesus’ Mind and Really Have That Da’at
You say that you want to take on Jesus’ mind, so you read the Word, but as you go through your day, are you just full of yourself and the way you see things? Do you actually live and apply that Word? Usually, you can tell by the way you handle the bumps and tests along the way.
When you are sad, what do you do? When you are tempted to fear, what do you do? When there is a chance to take the humble seat, (Audio) what do you do? When someone needs compassion or someone needs help, how do you handle it? Do you act like Jesus would? Wow. There’s a thought.
You already know that you fall really short sometimes because the tests come in ways that you don’t expect. When it comes to the work or the people that you get along well with or the things that are a part of your job, you do fine. But when it comes to those people who are annoying or who stretch your patience, then your true colors come out. That’s pretty sad, because it shows that all that other work is just surface stuff, and deep down, you aren’t like Jesus at all.
It’s the little things and the little people who reveal the true character of a person. So think about that. Look at Jesus. He had time for the sick. He had time for the children. Look at Dad. He knew that the little things and the little people are very important. What about you?
Yes, Da’at is very mystical and amazing. But you can see how much you are in Da’at by your everyday actions and choices and words. So the mystical is played out in a very down-to-earth way.
Yes, living in the Word is not about thinking and believing. The mystics knew; they were acquainted with Jesus and His ways and His spirit. They recognized it just by the smell of it and the feel of it. Reading the Word does this for you. But you have to read with an open mind. You have to let the Word in and let the spirit speak to you. Otherwise, it’s just surface stuff, just head knowledge. (PDF)Yes, it affects your feelings, and you get happy and you even get high sometimes. But if you really let down all the barriers when you are reading the Word, you will see more.
That means letting go of what you think you know and just realizing that you are a babe, empty, and you want to learn and you want to grasp the deep truths. There is a lot of truth in that phrase: you’ve gotta be a baby. If you have known Jesus for a long time, like your whole life even, the enemy can even use that against you. He tells you that you already know this stuff, and you read it and just pass along the surface. You already know Jesus and you know what He wants. And the enemy sees you happily out the door of your Word time and on to the work of the day without you really getting the point.
But if you are acquainted with Jesus, then you will see that He goes with you out into the day. You will recognize His hand, and you’ll hear His checks.
Sometimes you might not like what you hear. That’s one reason people conveniently block out His voice. He might tell you that you weren’t very nice to that person you were just interacting with. He might show you how your pride is getting in the way. If you were really tuning in, He might even have you take the humble seat (PDF) and let someone else tell you something.
But He will also tell you good things. He will have you praise when things are difficult. He’ll remind you to pray for things when you think of people or situations. He’ll show you that the Keys and your spirit helpers are always with you and trying to help you with your work. And if you could bring yourself to listen to them more, things would actually go better for you. You would be a blessing and make fewer mistakes and messes, or you would just be happier and more at peace.
But of course, you are all a work in progress, and it’s a journey. So there will be mistakes and there will be problems. But are you learning from them? All these things happen for a reason. There is a chance for a lesson.
The blue angels (Audio) are always by your side, tugging on you, trying to get you to forsake pride and come deeper with Jesus. All the things that happen are a chance to turn more into the truth of Da’at. You make a choice when things happen: do you shed more self and thus become more aware of Jesus and what He wants? That’s what Da’at is. Living in His mind, learning more and more about how He actually sees things.
You might be surprised at what He actually thinks about some things. And of course, there are a lot of things in His mind that you can’t handle yet, so it’s a step-by-step journey. But it’s amazing and thrilling. Don’t you want to get out of your mind and into His?
