Leave The Valley Behind. It’ll Cost You, But It’s Worth Dying For.
July 2026
Sonora: It’s only continual study and absorption of the Word that is going to give you the resolve to do this and to keep getting up again and again. It’s seems difficult and feels pointless because you aren’t getting enough Word, and your vision is clouded by the desire to just give up and stop fighting.
You want someone to say it’s okay to stop fighting for just a bit, to say you’ve fought well and now, because things didn’t turn out the way you wanted, you can rest and it’s okay and even justified for you to let down your guard and stop fighting the enemy so hard. But one thing is certain: the Word will never say it’s okay to go into the enemy’s camp and just let yourself go.
When everything else is breaking and falling apart around you, the Word will stand firm and will not bend to the world’s demands that it be less on fire, less separate, and less challenging so that it’s easier to take and accept.
At this point in the race you need tenacity and faith. Faith to believe that the finish line is just around the corner and the tenaciousness to hold on to the vision that a crown is waiting there for those that cross that line. I give you My solemn Word that both finish line and crown are there, but I cannot promise that it will be you that crosses the line. That crossing over is in your hands
It’s uncomfortable and it costs you, but you have to learn to see that uncomfortableness as the way to grow. That continual stirring and challenge keeps you out of the deadbeat systemite life and behavior…it keeps your head above the smog and pollution of the valley…breathing the mountain air and staying pure and clean from their evil ways and system. It’s a continual sacrifice and challenge, but as the MO Letter “Mountain Men” (PDF) clearly states:
LONG AFTER THE VALLEY WAS IN DARKNESS I COULD STILL SEE THE SUN. THERE IS MORE LIGHT ON THE MOUNTAIN. The valley is almost always dark—full of people & things, but usually in darkness. The mountain is windy & cold but thrilling! You really have to have the feeling that it’s really worth dying for! —But on the mount alone you feel so close to the Lord! The voice of His Spirit there is so loud it’s almost like it’s thundering! The voice of the multitude is so loud in the valley, you can’t hear the voice of God. The silence on the mountain peak is deafening! You get a real “high” on top of a mountain! It’s a thrill! It’s almost terrifying.
Sonora: Right there in the second paragraph of the second MO Letter, it says, “Leave the valley behind. It’ll cost you, but it’s worth dying for.” The Voice of Jesus is with you on the windy mountaintop, and isn’t that worth the struggle it is to live and die on the Mountain? The darkness of the valley is thick, and don’t you want to do all you can to stay free from that trap that puts you to sleep little by little?
And every time you choose to just go down the easy path and not struggle anymore, you slip a little more into the valley mindset, and the enemy is blinding you to the dangers by making it so comfortable and easy. It’s “away from thinking,” and you don’t feel the alarm you should as you quietly slide down the mountain.
So what do you want? Comfort, ease, and darkness, or to live and die on the Windy Mountaintop, where every step forward strengthens you and draws you closer to your Jesus and away from that system that just wants you to forget that the Mountain even exists and that freedom from its ways is possible.
If you choose to walk the rugged Heavenly way, you must choose it every day… You must refuse to go the sleepy way, the easy way that requires no effort, just sinking down and accepting defeat…choose the Mountain and choose to follow Jesus wherever He may lead you because you know what He’s offering is real, whilst the rest of the world is sinking in their own lethargy and rebellion against their Maker. Even though it takes everything in you, keep fighting. It’s that effort and fight that keeps you alive and kicking and able to really hit the enemy hard where it hurts, through wielding the Seven Thunders against him and his kingdom and by not giving up in your belief that his end is near. (End)
Hold to My Words of truth and be not deceived, but be prepared. And you will be if you are faithfully living in My Words, for then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free from the great confusion that is falling on all the world. (Recognizing and Resisting Pan ML#3401) (PDF)
Who is Sonora?
Note from Brittney: Sonora is a spirit helper whose name someone received for me when I was going through a difficult time. In the prophecy they received about her, it stated that she was a fighting angel to help me fight these particular battles. Then someone else looked up the meaning of her name, and one of the meanings was “warrior angel.” I also found out much later that she is my personal Warrior Band counselor.
