Dishes at the Marriage Supper

Jesus: I want to turn the page, close the chapter, and move ahead into the life that I have for you. Close the door and walk away, and let the past and your mistakes push you upward and closer to your ultimate goal. Use them as stepping stones and walk forward. There is a lot to be excited about. Don’t dwell on the past and what you should have or shouldn’t have done… forward, always forward, My love. Let Me use all your experiences and everything you’ve been through to shape you into the bride I want.

Come daily to this secret chamber (PDF), and as you love Me and I love you, I will mold and make you into the vessel that can truly serve Me in the way that I desire—a servant and a humble tool for Me, yet so greatly beloved by Me. Like when you joked that you guys would probably have to “wash the Marriage Supper dishes,” even though you were just playing around… it’s a good attitude to have—to just be there, willing to fill any need and be anything for Me to use. That’s what it means to be transparent and simply nothing… you know you are nothing and are giving Me all the glory, so it is easy for you to fill this role.

It’s lowly, and it kills any pride that you’ve kept hidden… you must be willing to simply disappear. When I am giving an important speech or when we are having a party, who notices the people who serve the juice? They are just servants, there to serve, and they find complete fulfillment in their role, for truly their hearts are full—full of love for Me, their sole core and reason.

Let the others pleasure themselves in the wine and delights of Heaven, but you, as you serve, have eyes only for Me and for anything I might need. At the slightest whim of command, you are ready to obey. This is the role of true brides… they don’t just sit on a throne above it all. They get in there and do their best to fill whatever need there is at the time, and because they are My intimates, they are right there when things are being planned and organized, and they get the inside scoop. They are in My intimate chambers and know My thoughts, but they are, by all means, servants.

Whenever there is a need or an extra task that needs doing that no one is free to do, or perhaps willing to do, I can call on these servant brides, for they are willing. They indeed serve and give their lives and the best they can offer. They’ve learned the joy of service and giving, and therefore I can pick them up and use them at any given moment, even if it is just to wash the dishes. “He that is greatest, let him be a servant.” Disappear into the background and let Me shine brighter. Just be there for Me… be like a beautiful picture frame that accentuates the beauty of the picture… Me.

I love you so much… I give you this honor of being in My core, in My tight team of faithful servant brides. Because you are so invested in making sure I have what I need, you know My mind, and you feel My moods and understand what I need when I need it. Of course, you are still in training, and this type of love and service is your goal. Your weak, selfish heart has yet to learn so much, and it’s through experience that you will grow. It’s not as though you have to be perfect to fill this role; I want you to grow into your calling through experience and through trial and error.

You have your whole life of service for Me ahead of you, and there is so much joy ahead for Me and you. You can grow into it if you feel so incapable right now. I don’t see you the way you see yourself, so please understand that I see you as a work in progress—and a beautiful one at that. I love to see you make the right decision, and then the “you” I intended you to be comes a little more to the fore. My heart swells with happiness as I recognize My true intentions coming out in you.

This is what I died for… I died so that this dream of Mine could come to pass. I so want you to fill this place I have for you, so I will be continuously chipping and melting, so that more and more, you are being readied for this role I have created you for. Your mistakes and failures are part of this chipping process, and they are important and cannot be avoided. Even your times of backsliding (PDF) and disobedience are slotted in as a potential time of humbling and repentance.

If you take advantage of times of failure to humble you and teach you more dependence on Me, then they can become great stepping stones to greater usefulness for Me. Of course, there is personal choice, but I am always praying that you will choose to yield, so that I can shape and mold you into what you were truly meant to be. (End)
