A SEQUEL TO “USING THE KEYS IN TANDEM”

“Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.” Proverbs 18:1

“Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.” Prov. 18:1 Recently the Lord gave me a key called Desire. Using it it positions you in a place of maximum leverage (see “I love them that love me – A Key called Desire”). The above verse confirms that principle by stating that through desire, you can seek and deal with all wisdom, not just a quarter or a half, but with all wisdom. However, to be able to access all wisdom through desire, there  is a prerequisite: having separated yourself.

What a beautiful picture of using the keys in tandem: first  binding (separating yourself) and then loosing (opening the door to all wisdom with the Key of Desire). “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Mat.16:19 Interesting to see  this very same principle all throughout the Bible, of closing the past before turning to open the future and receive  all that the Lord has for you.

(Wisdom speaking) “Turn you at my reproof; behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.” Proverbs 1:23

I like the expression in this verse: “Turn you at my reproof”, like turning a key in a lock, the lock of the past, and heading towards Her into the future where you’ll unlock (with the Key of Desire) the promises of Her spirit and of Her words being poured upon you. As the old saying goes: love begets love. The same seems to be true for desire. “Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house. So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty…” Psalm 45:10, 11a

That is the beautiful moment when the desire of the bride meets the desire of the bridegroom forming a forever-bond of love.
