A key called desire
submitted by Sam
“Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.” Psalm 73:25
“Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house; So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.” – Psalm 45:10, 11
There is an interesting principle in the Bible about reciprocating feelings and actions. I received a cat last year, and this year she had four kittens. One of them, Mary (predestined name) is constantly around me. It’s not just when she’s hungry, but she seems to have a longing, a desire for my presence. And even though I love and appreciate all my kittens the same, I feel like reciprocating Mary’s feelings towards me.
Also because we spend more time together, naturally she’s more pampered by me than the others. There is also a special bond developing between us, created and nurtured by her desire and longing as well as by the time we spend together.
“I love them that love Me, and those that seek Me early shall find Me.” – Proverbs 8:17
“Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you.” -James 4:8a “With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright; With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward. Psalm 18:25, 26
For a few days I’ve been getting the word “leverage” in regards to the Keys and today I got Archimedes lever statement picture and its connection to the Key of Desire.
“Give me a place to stand and with a lever I will move the whole world.” – Archimedes
We have the Rock to place our level on. He is both the Son of man and the Son of God. The Key of Desire, which makes us long to be as close as we can to our Lover and Husband in Heaven where our citizenship is (Philippians 3:20) and as far from the world as possible, gives us the best leverage ratio in moving, or I would rather say turning, the (your) whole world.
