Dew Upon the Roses – Part 2

I Speak Unto Babes

Therefore, if you’re not really here for the right reasons, then you won’t see the need to keep that barrier of the carnal mind broken down. You may have noticed that I’m directing this talk to babes; the truth is, in many ways, we are all babes.

“And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal.” (1 Corinthians 3:1–3)

It’s what Dad said about how to catch everyone’s attention when talking to a mixed crowd. Direct your attention to the youngest (PDF); that way everyone will understand. We should be thankful that we are looked upon as babes. Isn’t being in the arms of the Holy Spirit, sucking on Her breasts, the best and safest place to be?

Of course it is. Especially now that the world has grown so dark. Why would you want to leave your cave to go exploring in the “Dark Kingdom (PDF),” as Dad did in the MO letter of that name?

The Dark Kingdom

16. “IT WAS A HUGE BIG MASSIVE WOODEN DOOR in the wall, a real heavy thick thing with giant iron hinges, and it opened inward with no handle or anything on the outside, nothing but a keyhole. So I was feeling around all over the outside of it trying to find some crack or something I could see through like the keyhole [cell phone], but everything inside seemed to be dark even through the keyhole.
17. BUT JUST AS I WAS STANDING THERE trying to peek in, dying to know what was on the other side, I suddenly found out!—The earth beneath my feet suddenly began to give way in front of the door so that I fell feet-first almost straight downward right under the door and went sliding down this hill on the other side on the seat of my pants, until I came to an abrupt halt when my feet landed on a couple of rocks [the Word ballast] with my legs spread apart, still sitting on my backside against the side of the hill! I had landed in sort of a sitting position with my feet propped against a couple of rocks that had stopped my descent.
18. I WAS IN ALMOST TOTAL DARKNESS! You know how it is when you go inside into a dark room after having just been outside in the bright sunlight. That’s the way it was. But as my eyes began to adjust to the darkness I could see it wasn’t totally dark. It was just very, very dim, like it was nighttime in this place, but even nighttime is never totally dark, as you know. There’s always a little light it seems, just enough to distinguish houses and trees against the sky. So I began to look around me.
19. IT GRADUALLY BECAME APPARENT THAT THE WHOLE DARK ESTATE SLOPED DOWNWARD from the road and the wall, down, down, down into a deep dark valley. I had landed right in front of this great big ominous looking dark, dark gray old castle, not 100 meters away, and I was precariously perched on a sort of a ledge [on the mountain we are climbing]. I couldn’t see what was directly beneath me, but all around were dark bushes covering the hillside I’d slid down, and the big castle was surrounded by huge dark gloomy looking trees.” (The Dark Kingdom—Another Green Door)

Prophecy continues: Now you might be wondering how so many people could be saying that the Words of David are not the Words of God. Well I’ll tell you how, it all started just as the Words of David said they started: “People get in the habit of going to bed late, and that’s how the Devil steals their time with Me the next day, so that before people even wake up, the Devil has already made off with their quiet time—he’s spirited it away the night before, as they chatted, played, watched TV, surfed the Internet, etc., all those lesser activities.”(in the Dark Kingdom) (End) The Dark Kingdom ML#365 [1975]

MB: What strange dreams Dad had. But not so strange now, that had to be a prophetic dream warning us about what happens to a person when a cell phone demon grabs hold of them. The big oaken door—a portal into the parallel universe. The key hole he was peeking through—a cell phone. (See “The Smart Phone Dream”)

“Of course the Enemy is going to seek to distract you from approaching the portal of My world and realm of the Spirit—the portal of My Word, and My Words to you. You must fight! You must see these infractions of your Word time not as a personal failure, but as an attack of the Enemy.

This way, you will see the need to fight rather than ascribing it to your own inherent weaknesses all the time. It is an attack of the Enemy when you’re persuaded to forgo a little Word time for something else. There are many devices of the Enemy or of your own flesh that would work to separate us: the late nights that leave you too tired to read My Word; your projects that keep you from getting to quiet time with Me; the evening activities that keep you up; the desire to keep working just a little longer rather than stopping to take time with Me.

The Enemy uses these things against you as snares and attacks, but you don’t even recognize them anymore. You think it’s just part of the way things are, part of your personality. The Enemy has convinced you to accept and believe that these things are your own fault, so that you don’t see that they proceed from him.” ML#3292 (PDF)

MB: It’s taking up that time you could be having with Jesus, the very first quote we read says: forsake it—“If there comes a time when you realize that something in your life is more important to you than Me, then you should right away, without delay, forsake it.”

Prophecy continues: Jesus was trying to tell us, through the dreams of the Endtime prophet, that we shouldn’t be even the least bit curious about looking into that keyhole (cell phone) in the gate of the “Dark Kingdom,” let alone going out into it for a peek. Why didn’t people listen? Why didn’t they see the writing on the wall? People use the excuse that they can’t hear from the Lord in prophecy. Dad said, “If you can’t hear from the Lord in prophecy, then read it in the MO letters.” Jesus didn’t give us room for excuse. He made it as easy as He could to climb this mountain of discipleship.

So, you see, even saying your prophecy channel isn’t so strong isn’t a good excuse, so don’t use it. The enemy sees that excuse as the crack in your armor, and he will use it over and over again until you are defeated. He’ll make sure to reinforce that part of the barrier so strongly that, before you know it, you won’t even miss hearing from your Lover every morning. Now what kind of a love relationship is that?

But the enemy won’t stop there; he’s intent on taking that sledgehammer away from you. He wants to get you to a point where you don’t even miss Word time anymore, or at least get you to the point that the churches are at, using a sponge hammer.

We are fighting for our destiny. There are no more Children of David elites; they have all gone back. M&P told us that we should not call ourselves elites. They were wrong then, and they are still wrong today.

So that is where the Devil gets most of us—right at the mouth of the portal. He knows that if we pass through, then we’re going to get fed. So he distracts us at the portal mouth. You turn to the distraction, which often leads to another, and another, until you are far away from the mouth. He continues to try to distract you as you pass through the portal. That is where the Keys and your spiritual helpers come in. Call on them to help you fight the enemy off. You need undistracted Word time, and you have to fight very hard for it sometimes.

So here you are, quite far from the portal, and you are happily distracted. You are being happily entertained, and you begin to think you don’t need the Word to be happy…oh dear.

Silver Key: “This Key is also as a bullet train piercing through very dark clouds that shatters the barrier of man and allows more 5th-dimensional energy to take control of wherever you send this Key. It is as a missile that deploys the latest frequency from our cave into the realm of the Antichrist and dispels the religious propaganda that deceives so many.” (End)

Iron Sharpeneth Iron

“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”

“Iron can’t sharpen wood. It takes something of equal strength—equal substance—to refine you. This is why certain people in your life feel like they ‘wake you up,’ or make you think deeper, or push you spiritually.”

But in today’s post reboot climate—high up on the mountain—those “certain people” are few and far between. We are like Jesus, He was a mountain man, although He was constantly surrounded by His disciples, He was nonetheless alone; there weren’t any “like fellows” up on the mountain He was climbing. Only His Father to refine His iron and keep the rust off its edge—so Jesus’ went into the spirit and made His Father His constant companion.

Yes, Jesus loved fellowship, but He was surrounded by babes—wood—not iron. His Father was the iron He needed to challenge Him spiritually.

Friction Is Part of the Process

“Sharpening isn’t gentle. It involves pressure, scraping, sparks. Proverbs 27:17 quietly acknowledges that meaningful relationships aren’t always smooth—but they make you better.”

Dad said in Stop, Look and Listen (PDF): “People are absolutely scared stupid of the quiet & the stillness, because they know the voice of God might come through!”

You’ve got to be choosy about who you fellowship with if you want those sparks to fly.

Again, it comes back to asking yourself: What do I want from life—prosperity or a life lived for the spiritual? Is following Jesus as His elite warrior what you want out of life? Then the Word is what you need to be reading and listening to, and you will only find the right Word in that mountain cave—the Revolutionary Rules of conduct are what you need to to live life atop of the Mountain of God. And once you have those rules in hand, you have to be prepared to live them.

“Long after the valley was in darkness I could still see the sun. There is more light on the mountain. The valley is almost always dark—full of people & things, but usually in darkness. The mountain is windy & cold but thrilling. You really have to have the feeling that it’s really worth dying for!—Any mountain—the mountain of this life, the mountain of accomplishment, the mountain of obstacles, of difficulty—if you’re going to climb them, they have to be worth dying for, to brave wind & cold & storm, symbolic of adversities. But on the mount alone, you feel so close to the Lord! The voice of His Spirit there is so loud it’s almost like it’s thundering!” (Mountain Men)

You will know immediately which direction you are going by looking at who you fellowship with. I’m sure Jesus spent most of His life fellowshipping with His Father—either up on the mountain early in the morning, or while He was going about His daily business. He was always listening to His Father, praying without ceasing.

Let’s Talk About Fellowship

Okay, so let’s talk about fellowship. Fellowship is great; everyone agrees, even the Bible. But the problem an elite disciple can run into is this: Is the fellowship he or she is having with that friend leading them closer to Jesus or further away from Him? Is it leading him or her up the mountain or down the mountain—through the portal of His Word or further away from it?

Jesus loved fellowshipping with His disciples, but the fellowship He loved the most was the fellowship He had with His Father. Why? Well, doubtless His Father is a pretty cool fellow, but besides that, Jesus knew that His Father held the key to a successful mission. And Jesus always kept that purpose in the forefront of His mind—His mission—He had to fulfill His mission. He had to bring the Light of Israel through the darkness that had already fallen on the world. So He made His fellowship with His Father the first-up fellowship, because His Father was the iron Jesus needed to keep a keen edge on His sword.

We distract each other—that’s the truth. Life is full of distractions, but if you learn to see them as distractions from the enemy, then you are better able to fight them when they come into your life. Just like the quote we read said: “You must fight! You must see these infractions of your Word time not as a personal failure, but as an attack of the Enemy.”

In other words, your weakness for frothy fellowship with friends or your cell phone should not be seen as a personal failure, but an attack of the enemy.

We aren’t in this life to find our niche; we’re here to give a message. We’re up on a mountain and need mountain‑climbing fellowship, not coffee‑and‑cookies while we chat with friends or browse nonsense on our cell phone. That sort of fellowship will turn you into a neutral or cold. Remember what Dad said about neutrals in ML #530 (PDF):73–74:

“There are no neutrals! There are only the ignorant—the people who as yet have not heard, have no knowledge, who haven’t yet heard the truth. That’s true of witnessing, of anything. But the moment they have heard the truth they can no longer be neutral. It’s impossible! They have to make a decision, & if they reject the truth, they’re going to believe a lie, & go the wrong direction against God! Whenever you confront them with the truth you precipitate a crisis & they have to make a decision!”

We aren’t ignorant, that’s why this mountain we are on is so lonely. We were given the truth and we made our decision and slipped into our mountain boots and climbed up here. And the higher we climbed the more the crowds thinned out. Until now, the closest people to us are those in the spiritual realm.

As for those on the physical mountain, well there may as well be a great gulf between us. The only way we can fellowship with them is via the cell phone. That’s why cell phones are so deadly dangerous—you don’t need to go down into the valley to fellowship; the valley has come up to you. Well, I should say, been sent up to you by the enemy. And as many can attest, it is a battle royal to keep that cell phone in its proper place.

That’s why some of you made the decision to take that chip out of your phone. You know how dangerous it is, you know how the sirens call to you across the airwaves, beckoning you to come closer to the rocks where they sit. You made a decision for Jesus when you took that cell phone chip out of its slot and gave it to someone to keep for you. Well done, I know what direction you are going, I know the struggle you face, but I also know you are going the right direction.

Remember the first MO quote we read: “If there comes a time when you realize that something in your life is more important to you than Me, then you should right away, without delay, forsake it. Only by putting Me first and keeping Me in first place above everything else—your desires, your ambitions, your work, your relationships, your fun and entertainment—will you keep that revolutionary spirit.”

To stay on the mountain—to not turn cold or neutral—you have to put fellowship with Jesus first and foremost. And if you don’t have any “iron‑type friends” up here on the cold, lonely mountain, then in a way you should be happy. Jesus has allowed your circumstance so that you will turn to Him. He is helping you complete your mission.

This is what iron sharpeneth iron means. And that is what witnessing is all about too, really—it’s about bringing people to a decision. You are witnessing to someone, let’s say your friends; you’re not just swapping stories over coffee. You want to sharpen your iron, and while you’re doing it you’re both making decisions for or against the Word. The Word is convicting; it’s a grinder; it makes the sparks fly.

“The early believers didn’t gather to ‘hang out.’ They gathered to discern the path upward — toward the Lord’s house, toward transformation, toward purpose. ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord… and He will teach us His ways.’ (Isaiah 2:3)

That’s the blueprint. Fellowship is supposed to be a council of climbers saying: ‘How do we ascend? What is the next step? What is the Spirit saying?’ Among other things, real fellowship is supposed to refine our purpose and strengthen our resolve.”

We’ve Come Into Our Calling

We aren’t hanging out. We’ve been told to “keep climbing and shout in the dark,” because in this world today—where those who are supposed to be hot, not cold, are in fact lukewarm—we have actually come into the calling Jesus said we’d come into back in the Words of David, without even really realizing it: that of being those prophets on the mountain, those preaching the meat of His Word in the very end of days, those Endtime prophets.

We were under the impression that fire would be proceeding from the mouths of the Endtime witnesses. Well, fire and sparks go together, don’t they? When you are speaking the truth to a friend or on a post or on the street, sparks can fly. Literal sparks? No—we all know that is just an idiom. That tells you that the fire that comes from the mouth of the Endtime witnesses isn’t literal fire, but the white‑hot flame of God’s Word.

I realize I’m mixing a few concepts together, but I guess there’s a bit of Dad in all of us. I can almost hear Mother Eve saying, “When you preach, do you always have to start at Genesis and end in Revelation?”

“Proverbs 27:17 quietly acknowledges that meaningful relationships aren’t always smooth—but they make you better. This is the part most churches avoid. They want harmony without honesty, unity without depth, fellowship without friction. But Scripture is blunt: If there’s no friction, there’s no sharpening. If there’s no sharpening, there’s no ascent.”

The people who truly sharpen you don’t let you stay small, don’t let you settle, don’t let you lie to yourself, don’t let you drift, don’t let your edge rust. They call you upward — even when it stings. Smooth relationships keep you comfortable. Sharpening relationships make you dangerous to darkness.”

Prophecy continues: We should listen to the words of the prophet; they are God’s Word. God isn’t trying to turn you against the people out there. He is warning you that they are passive enemies. Do you know what passive is? It means, among other things, inert, inactive, and unreceptive. We are sending out witnessers to do the job we simply cannot do. These witnessers are going right into the heart of the matter, right to the people’s minds and hearts, to force them to make a decision.

ML#578 (PDF):76 But because the vast majority of the people pretend to take no sides at all & are just indifferent, they are also your enemies. They are passive enemies. They are on the wrong side just because they didn’t come out on the right side. These are those who claim not to take any sides, like the so-called neutrals.”

The End is coming really fast. The mentality out there is insane. What the world is doing now makes no reasonable sense. What is Trump doing attacking Iran for her oil? What are the Moabite Revelation 3:9ers doing, killing off the Palestinian people? What is the purpose? The fact is, Jesus in the New Testament said there is no purpose anymore. There is no eye-for-an-eye, tooth-for-a-tooth law anymore. So what are those devils doing? What is that devil Putin doing in Ukraine? What is that Iranian government doing, subjecting Sharia law to its people? Why are there passports, visas, tax forms? Why are the governments of this world numbering all their people, and their houses, and their businesses, and all the items in those buildings? What the hell for?

The people are passive. They are dumbed down. They aren’t fighting for the Bible or the truth. They have either made their decision or they are still in indecision. It’s impossible to bring them to that spiritual decision. Jesus is using all the madness in the world to force them to either “sigh” or shrug.

The world out there has become unreceptive to what is really being said in the Bible. So the End unfolds in all its horror and insanity to assist those witnessers in the spiritual realm to sift the wheat from the tares. Of course, people are making decisions on a more carnal plane and showing it by their protests and demonstrations, but the passive majority, who don’t care to make ripples, let alone waves, still need to make a decision so things can move forward.

They haven’t had a real chance to know the truth & to see the real thing & the right thing, the good thing, so therefore they can’t yet be held responsible by God. So God gives them a chance to hear the good thing, the right thing, the real thing, & from then on they have a choice & are then compelled to make a decision.”

MB: That’s what we are seeing right now in the world: a crucifixion. God’s people are being crucified by the devil’s people, and the passive world is looking on. If they are “sighing,” then there’s hope for them. If they are shrugging, then they are condemned—by their very own conscience.

When we see the Endtime in that light, then all the madness begins to make sense. It’s still madness, just like the mad crowds who crucified Jesus—praising Him one day, calling for His demise the next. There has to be a trial, there has to be judgment, and there has to be a crucifixion.

And it’s the Devil’s people again, stirring up the people with all the propaganda. Keep praying, beloved, it may yet get a lot darker.
