SO COME FLY WITH ME, OPEN YOUR EYES AND YOU WILL SEE WONDROUS THINGS IN THE UNIVERSE OF MY WORD
Jan 5
It takes humility to really put the Word into practice. One tactic that the enemy uses is “I already know this,” especially if it is about something like praise or prayer (PDF) that you have heard so many times. If the enemy can put this thought into your mind, then all that Word and advice just passes over you and doesn’t even sink in or have an effect. But if you are humble and honest with yourself, then you know that you aren’t using those weapons (PDF) nearly as much as you could be. You realize that you really NEED Jesus and you Need those weapons. Then you will listen to class with a “do or die” attitude… “I have to do this Word or I will die (Audio)” That’s when you’re looking at things with a humble, please-teach-me, I-know-nothing attitude. It’s to these that new mysteries are shown. Even in the Old Wine –that was written years ago and that you have read dozens of times– are new mysteries and treasures waiting to be revealed, but only to the hungry. You have the keys; those keys open doors (Audio). They open portals to the other world. Those portals are in the Word. Remember, the key promise, “My Word is a complete spiritual universe”? But it’s the keys that open the portals and get you from one place to another as you explore that universe. And a key is no good if you just hold it in your hand. You have to “use” it. You do this by applying the Word. When you read about praise, you don’t just listen and forget about it. As you go through the day, you find ways to use the Word that you have read. As you use praise, you are opening doors in the spirit. You are exploring that universe. But how deep you go and how far you go depends too on you and your humility and desire, your desperation. You can go through your day and praise Me for a few nice things here and there and that is good and will help lift the spiritual atmosphere. But what about when you get a jolt, like a correction or a problem, or someone starts being annoying. Where does your praise go then? Those problems show how deep the keys are in you. Is your water actually sweet? Or just a bit of sweet-looking stuff floating on top while the rest is bitter and proud? How deep does your praise go? Do you sincerely thank Me, even if by faith, for those things in your life that pain you deep down? Do you accept and yield under the breaking? Do you see how deep “praise” can be? It’s a never-ending journey of acceptance and yielding to Me. Praise is a key that also ties in with prayer and Loving Me intimately (PDF). And these weapons or vehicles are what propel you forward in that journey. And it’s the knocks and the breakings that make you realize that you need these weapons and you need your sweet Lover, Me, to even get by. It’s all very mysterious and sometimes you don’t understand. But isn’t that good? Don’t you want to keep learning? Isn’t it a beautiful universe once you start flying? Even if you can’t understand some of the things you are seeing, will you still keep flying? Or will you close your eyes and say that these things can’t be so? That attitude will land you back on the earth with a thud. Kerplunk. Sad. So come fly with Me. Open your eyes and you will see wondrous things in the universe of My Word. Maybe you won’t know what it is you are seeing… Is that a planet? Or a cloud? Or a far off solar system? Oh look, it’s actually Lambda One and an escort of smaller craft on an important mission for the King.
