A SHORT PROPHETIC DISCOURSE ON OUR JOURNEY FROM MO TO FLYING OFF THE MOUNTAIN

January 30, 2025…

MB: Okay, we’ve been flying pretty high these last few podcasts. Do you like flying? ”Come fly with me…a thousand views”. Would you like a story of how we got to be up here?  Here is a very condensed history of our climb.

Starting at MO

Prophecy: The first part of the journey was made easy for you; all you had to do was “Follow God” through the mouth of the prophet David. He made it easy by removing all the Churchy garbage (traditions) to reveal the Bible basics; that of living a revolutionary life outside of the Devil-created, counterfeit system. You followed, and the Revolutionary Children of David of the last days were born. Your “Pied Piper” David led you out of town, straight to the foot of the mountain and the climb began. Now although it was a wonderful life on the mountain, right from the start the climb was hard going. There were always plenty of people willing to pull you down the mountain, Satan being chiefest. Yet as great an enemy as he was, there was yet one greater…yourself.

You Are Your Own Worst Enemy.

As the climb continued, instead of keeping your gear trimmed down to the basics, you began taking on more and more luggage, which only made the climb more and more difficult. Mountain climbing is a great analogy of what you are doing for Jesus. However, the mountain you are climbing is not some rugged, sparse, snow-covered peak deep in the Himalayan Mountains, with nothing on it but rocks, snow, tufts of sour grass and the odd mountain goat. Yours is a spiritual mountain and as so many before you can attest, spiritual mountains are by far the hardest of all mountains to climb.

So time when on and after many years of climbing, you reached a stage where you’d taken on so much extra baggage that you started to look a lot like the churches that you’d left far behind in the valley below. More and more climbers began to say that the mountain was too hard, in fact, impossible to climb. “Surely we’ve chosen the wrong mountain or the gear we are using is the wrong gear,” they would say. And on the other hand, there were rumors of a certain sickness mountaineers get when climbing very high mountains. It’s been told that they start to see things that others can’t see…imaginary things.  In the very “high in the Spirit” Mountains there is a mist that blocks the view of what is up ahead. They say it is purple in color, and when you breathe it in, you begin to hallucinate. Some say they’ve seen blue creatures as they enter the purple mist.

It was round about the time the first tendrils of purple mist began to appear that a halt was called. The original guide, his name was David, had passed on sometime before and the job of guiding the team chosen to reach the summit was given to his closest aides. What happened at this point in the climb no one really knows. David’s aides had gathered some of those closest to them and they began quietly conferring with each other about who knows what. Before long it was decided that a new route would be sought. A plan was laid out before all climbers; it was carefully explained but was pointed out with strange sounding idioms and phrases that turned the hearers away from the original guidelines given by David.

The Change Journey Had Begun.

The advice at first seemed quite reasonable to most of the climbers, and that is because everyone had taken on far too much overweight and they were all very sick and tired of climbing up the never-ending mountain. It is hard to say what happened at that point because a large group of climbers charged off on a one degree downward slanting path shouting a war cry that sounded something like “true revolutionaries float your faith”. Another group who spent even less time meditating on the plan than the first group went sliding down the mountain on the seat of their pants and to the best of our knowledge no one has heard of them since. But there was a third group that sat on the boulders strewn around that fateful spot looking kind of bewildered. They didn’t really want to follow the “true revolutionaries” although it made them feel very bad and unrevolutionary. They just needed some time to go over that newly construed map. They sat for a long time; they were after all very tired and confused. There were before them three choices. The easiest choice and course of action was the snake slide right to the bottom of the mountain. All you had to do was sit down on your backslide and let go. The second choice, although seeming right in the eyes of man, had a strange feeling about it. They were not sure whether it was that one degree tilt or that everyone ran off still holding all the baggage they’d accumulated during the climb. The original manual said that to climb this mountain the climber had to forsake-all, so the old advice made the new advice to “float your faith“ look more like “sink your faith”.

To add to the dilemma the third group faced…the original trail map that David had drawn whilst listening to the greatest Mountaineer that ever lived had all but petered out. But that was not all…the trail coordinates that David’s aides had added to David’s map upon David’s passing had also petered out to a point where only one signpost stood. The signpost had an arrow pointing straight up and underneath the arrow in very small, almost cryptic lettering it said “This way to the Seven Thunders”.

What Could They Do?

All the time the third group was pondering the problem, the valley was growing darker and darker and some in the group had begun noticing that the darkness was quickly moving up the mountain to where they were sitting.  Now this is the last time I’m going to mention the second group because they had become so engrossed in valley life activities that the darkness had all but smothered them (PDF). The snake they had happily slidden on had turned on them and constricted their very life to a point where all they could see was the company store. The first group –well, they had convinced themselves that there was plenty of time to climb the mountain and the path they were now following, although a little slanted was much much easier on their old bodies, so by His Grace they were certain to make it, even if it took another fifty years.

Meanwhile, high up on the mountain, the clouds were growing heavy with rain and the light was fading at an alarming rate. Had they made the right decision to sit for so long? But right then a single ray of light from way up high on the mountain penetrated the purple mist and shone its light on a spot on the original map that David had drawn. The pinpoint of light, so bright and so piercing revealed the secret that had eluded the third team all the time they had sat pondering their next move. There, before one of the climbers was the way through; the almost shocking truth glared up at him. There was a way forward and up and it wasn’t on the quickly construed map that the “true revolutionaries” had cleverly come up with. The climbers, now two, gathered the facts that now lay almost ridiculously obvious before them and set to work condensing what they had found and then went before the other climbers to present their findings. It took a little time of careful reading, but as the hours ticked by, the realization began to dawn upon the minds of the readers. There indeed was a way up and away from the rapidly creeping darkness below. Lamps were quickly refilled and trimmed; the call to dump all unnecessary baggage was passed through the rank of climbers. It was time to forge ahead. It was then that the calm voices of the Master Mountaineer and his original mapmaker came in hushed whispers around the side of the cliff face, saying:

“This Is The Way Walk Ye In It”

During the hurry and flurry of breaking camp and moving on up the mountain, a conviction began forming in the minds of the remnant. They began clearly seeing that the one degree slant the second group took was wrong. What was needed was a 360 degree turn; it was a type of magic spin, you might say. Once the spin came slowly to a stop, the group realized that the climb ahead was as it was always meant to be, purely by faith. What lay before them was a blank sheet of paper (PDF). The Master and his aide were directing the group to map a new course straight off the original coordinates. They studied the old maps for any clues and soon found the original coordinates that the aides in the second group tried to cunningly disguise. The new coordinates that the Master Mountaineer was passing down to them in whispered tones pointed the climbers to a sheer mountain face with very few toe and finger holds. This was the first of many tests on this new and unknown path. They had been used to following the leaders, so now that the leaders were gone, there was quite a bit of bewilderment. I must admit; the climb began a little timidly, but you must remember these birdies were a bit fat and overweight from sitting for such a long time. Yet as our brave pioneers climbed, the extra baggage in their duffle bags began to fall off. They were on their way into unknown territory thwart with hidden dangers and many unfamiliar voices that would often tempt them to turn back. However, as the climb progressed, the opportunities to turn back became less and less. The slant and angle of the cliff made it nigh impossible to even turn to the left or the right. There was a bonus to all their struggles; the climbers had now become a much closer-knit team, and although they were strung out across the cliff face some distance from each other, they called to one other on the now dark and windy mountain. Their reassuring calls, buffeted and at times caught and garbled by the howling winds, nevertheless reached the ears of hearers and encouraged them to climb on in spite of all the adversities they faced. The secret that brought them even closer to the Master and each other came one night when spirits and lamps were running low on oil. The secret came as it always does, in a whisper:

You Have Had The Keys All Along.

It came in urgency out of the darkness, like a rushing refreshing breath on the wind as it swept on by …”You have the Seven Thunders; they are in that side pocket of your duffel bag” Now by this time the ears of the climbers were becoming quite adept at picking up the whispers. They were also more confident in the abilities of those they climbed with and were more ready to believe that their buddies were also doing all they could do to listen and obey the Master’s whispers.

Around the same time as the secret of the Seven Thunders was revealed and not too far from the point we are at now, the climbers made the last push over the lip of the cliff face and were confronted with a new challenge. The coordinates they were following pointed straight out into the blue yonder. But by this time, with so much experience under their belts, no one truly panicked. They instead tightened their belts and by faith carefully read over the “learn how to fly” (PDF) instructions that were beginning to filter down from the Great Eagle in the Sky.

It is about now that I will have to leave you, but that is fitting, because your future has not yet been fully mapped. However, before I leave on the whispering wind of God’s spirit, I am commissioned to share this bit of news. The climb ahead will take a few unexpected turns…These turns should not alarm you. They are from His hand; they are turns that will hold your team even more closely together. If you continue to put the Seven Thunders first in your life and keep dumping the surplus every time it finds its way into that duffel bag, your fighter jet will not lose altitude and your orbit will remain stable. (End)

“The Keys are your eyes; you must use the Keys more. There is no other way to see even what is right under your feet unless you use the Keys. You need not fear the snake; he is trapped under your feet. You have bruised his head with your heel; it’s because of your obedience to the Words of David that he can’t move. The Seven Secret Words will protect you as they protected the Prophet. You must use them more; you must meditate on them. You must live them and take them into your very being. They must lodge and connect in your spiritual brain. They are your very life and the life of those around you. Do not take your eyes off of the Word and the Keys, for they are your very life and the only way you will be able to see into the darkness that surrounds you.

Dad: He’s talking to the Devil through me & He’s giving me Words to fight the Devil, powerful Words, really great Words, wonderful Words! They’re really Magic Words that really hit the Devil hard & he cannot overcome them, especially the Seven Secret Words that God has given me for protection that he cannot overcome! It is impossible for the Enemy to overcome these Words & these Seven Kisses of David. I have but to utter them & he flees!
